Well I'm invisible in the interviews thread (must be too much of a downer). What a lonely process this is. The problem being that only my husband really understands what I'm going through, and he is back in America.

I keep checking the status but I don't think it will change this week. This is the most unbelievable load of sh*t ever. I would be so much less angry if we had done something wrong, but this is THEIR error not ours. THey don't understand their own processes.

I definitely agree with you, this is a very lonely process! As far as the interview thread and being invisible maybe people are similar to me. I very rarely go in topics/threads (such as this one) that the people have long and too much signatures. I rather read daily peoples rants or helpful useful stuff not read between a page that is mostly reading between signatures. Just my opinion though. I keep checking my status even though i know NVC is closed xD I know the feeling.

You don't go into threads where people have long signatures? How do you differentiate those threads from other threads? Mine is long, no apologies, it stops me from answering the same questions all the time.

No I don't mean long as in your signature. Ones with flashy letters, videos, links (too many links) lol or more so I will pop in and read threads but skip ones i know have sigs so long you gotta read between the lines

Has your husband contacted one of his representatives and maybe scheduled an Info Pass? It's really incredible how stupid and dense these people are.

Welcome to the thread, I get what your saying but I put a spoiler on mine, I got sick of seeing the long line of ####### that has happened to us and it takes up too much space. I even had to remove information because I have more than 40 lines. Some of the links like on mine and Janelle's are for Videos about our lovely time through this process. Our attempt to make many aware of our plight. I usually skip the timelines when I know the person just keep scrolling down. You just might miss some interesting things.

Every one at the interview thread is gearing up for their interview either getting one or going through it and they care about nothing else. It's why I have rarely posted there. I do love Dewheels she is the best.

Ah yes some information is good and interesting, I clicked your link and watched them lovely videos a few days back. Breaks my heart to watch and read what some spouses have to go through. I only pray i do not have to go through this. It does frighten though cause of my husbands and my age difference. What sickens me about this whole process is the fact that there is really no set guidelines as to what these immigration people and customs people can and cant do. One is having a bad day they can pretty much mess over and hurt a lot of people. They want to be picky about any little dot missed or whatever, they can. Something is just NOT right with this system.

For example if Monday rolls around and I have still had no word at all, I'll have to guess when to rebook my flight to.. I know it's my fault for booking my flight but we had good reason to be confident! So I hope I know by then

OMG! I was just reading the interview thread ans someone posted that their husband just had his interview and one of the first questions they asked him was what her social security number is. Seriously? Unbelievable!

Thank you very much for watching our videos and your lovely comment. I really don't think you'll have any problem since your husband is from a country no one fears. If anything maybe a mistake like they have done with Janelle and SharksBelow but then with these monsters you just never know. I will suggest you be at the interview something I didn't do to save money and I really regret it. I thought if they give him the Visa I will save the money to come home with my husband. But I don't think it would have made a difference I think he decided before we ever got there.

Your so right no matter how long we know someone there will be times we will forget about something we aren't computers. And yes each Embassy and individual do pretty much what ever they want to do. I'll be praying the rest of your journey is a smooth I don't wish this torture on anyone.

I know, one week seems like a year but I think they take about two weeks to look at the files so you should be getting your Visa very soon. I can't wait to see those words here and know you are out of this nightmare. God bless you my sweet friend. : )

No, not Cairo, it was Cameroon. I would have never thought to have my hubby memorize my social. I find it absurd that they would ask such a question.

Soloenta... I had not expanded your timeline since your interview and I am sitting here absolutely gobsmacked right now. I had no idea that happened to you. I feel so silly for whining now. Though perhaps we are in the same boat, I don't know, if there is one thing I have learned from this process it is to have absolutely no optimism at all, and never hope even for fairness because it is hopeless.

Got my Cc on March 20. Now waiting for an interview to be scheduled. I pray for all other members here. How are you Soloenta dear? I was away for a while. My husband visited after 18 months.
