Someone in my household has managed to find some patience for this process--it's just not me!

I've been working on desensitizing him to his airline carrier while we wait. I think that's working, at least. Come on, NVC, I can make a cat like a cat carrier in less time than it takes for you to glance over some forms? I thought cat training was supposed to be HARD and reading was supposed to be EASY.

Called NVC. Got a really nice rep who at least didn't tell me people were lying when they said that they already had case complete from days after mine but said that best case scenario I'm likely to hear something next week.

They put me on administrative processing at the NVC stage, so the 60-day limit doesn't apply to me :\ As if 60 days was fair to begin with. NVC refused to give me a timeframe on when they can start reviewing my case, I'm really frustrated and distracted because of this.

I swear this is the worst experience in my life, I can probably go to jail or the dentist and feel happier than having to be at the NVC stage.

I haven't seen this before and I would think you they at least tell you why. I suggest if you haven't already get your representative involved as soon as you can. Senator or Congress person I think your wait will be short if you do. I'll be praying this does not last long.

I am just heart broken at how they treat the citizens of the USA and all they can say is a Visa is not guaranteed, it should be if the person is clean and married for over two years, seriously who would be married for over two years if it isn't real. Sorry just venting I just have seen and felt so much sorrow that I can barely stand it anymore and what hurts the most is no one cares.

Just Google your state and which branch you want to contact and it will show up. You will have to download and sight a release form so they can help you. Better if you can go to their office is possible you can just walk in unless you rather make an appointment. Over the phone they can say anything to you and not feel a thing, thus in person is so much better.

Please take note that not all countries are treated equally and some ( you might think this is just the way it is) are being discriminated against with out the person/individual being to blame for anything. I'm just in despair there is no one to help, no one at all.

Anyone know how to delete photos from VJ? Someone accidentally uploaded photos that are meant to be kept private. I sent them a message in case they weren't aware. They responded that it was accidental and they can't figure out how to delete them.
