Hi everyone! So glad everything is working out for so many people!!

I have a question and maybe someone'll know the answer? My NOA2 was supposedly sent to me here in Nicaragua but got lost in the mail. After talking with the NVC we figured everything out and they said it didn't matter that I didn't have the official hard copy. Could I potentially need that for the interview??

(I can't believe it's the day-after-tomorrow!! I hardly slept last night!!)

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone needing their NOA2 at the interview. You should be fine because USCIS forwarded your documents to NVC, then NVC forwards USCIS + NVC documents to the consulate for your interview.

Check out these lists just to double check you have everything you need. If they mention it/ask for it, you could explain what happened and I cannot imagine it'd be a problem at all. Good luck! Be sure to tell us how it goes please!

Never heard it being needed for the interview, only the P4 the e-mail they send you after you get your interview date and the sealed medical records. Anyone know about the NOA2? Much luck and prayers for the interview and please sleep you will need it.

My hubbie is lying right next to me now and he thanks all of you for your kind and encouraging words! He's soooo nervous and can hardly believe this is finally happening, but right now he looked at me and said "our dreams are about to finally come true, aren't they?" and it made me so happy!

I've been working on desensitizing him to his airline carrier while we wait. I think that's working, at least. Come on, NVC, I can make a cat like a cat carrier in less time than it takes for you to glance over some forms? I thought cat training was supposed to be HARD and reading was supposed to be EASY.

What a cutie! He sure does look comfy. And that's a great idea, getting him used to it. One less thing to worry about! This is going to be your week, I can feel it.
