Just got my P4 email ? my husbands interview is at 10am on 4/9/2015 in Nigeria. I am so happy, but so stressed that it is this soon lol. I was thinking it would be in May and now I have to get everything ready in less than a month. Not to mention the flight will cost more since I will have to buy my ticket almost last minute lol. Thank you everyone that has kept me sane during these long hard months, and good luck to everyone still waiting.

Thank you all for your replies. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I ended up having an AFib episode and am in the hospital. Hubby doesn't know. He is currently still on his way

He does have two envelopes. One sealed from embassy and one sealed from medical. hopefully that's his X-ray. :)

Love you girl your Brilliant wish you were my lawyer, I could pay you :D. You should go into immigration law!

Or better yet come to CA and become a Senator or Congresswoman. (F) (L) (F) Seriously!

A little while after we started this process, when I realized how complicated it all can be and the injustice and unfairness that happens everyday, the idea of becoming an immigration lawyer has been floating around in my head. Last night and today I spent quite a while reading up on what it takes to become one and the different aspects of the job. It's now something I'm seriously considering!

I found this essay and felt so inspired: http://www.law.harvard.edu/students/orgs/jlg/vol27/stock.pdf

I thought maybe it would offer some hope to all of you stuck in AP and facing really unjust situations. There are people out there fighting those battles for you (and winning!) everyday. I hope things get better soon, and in the meantime, you all are able to find some good immigration lawyers.

Thinking of you all!! (L)

Congratulations to the CCs lately and the approval. I read everything even if I don't post. :pop::wub:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thank you will do, hehehee haven't felt this way in a long time, God please let this work. Please everyone e-mail, snail mail and add Janelle's e-mail for contact. Thank you. :)

Also meant beautiful voice and face not voice and voice. Immigration needs to be sued for messing with our heads. :(

I wish we could sue them! :protest::protest:

The draining of emotions, I feel like this is a cruel punishment. So I recieved my package back from the USCIS its rejected because USPS delivered a damaged package. And guess what the money orders are gone. So now I had to cancel them which takes up to 30 days for a refund, and then redo the whole package again. From filling in February to now what looks like it might be April. This has to be a cruel and sick joke......

so sad Ice cream is not even helping me right now????????????????❓

Oh sweet heart I'm so very sorry for this, might be better to send it DHL but it is expensive and while repacking do you have any new evidence to put in there? Skype, text logs? Take advantage of this if you can so it wont be total loss. This maybe your opportunity to add to your package. You in my prayers my dear that all goes well from here on. (L)

Ahhhh, I suppose that's it! My x-ray is not sealed, just in a normal (huuuge, I don't even know how I'm going to carry it!) envelope.

I know I really, really, really don't have any room to complain/rant and I'm happy and ecstatic and all things good, but damn I'm going crazy here. I think I managed to finish all "paperwork" things today. Saw the last doctor... closed the last bank account... attempted to start packing... but everything is a mess. I have no idea what I'm going to take or not take. Going through everything in my house has been an emotional roller coaster. I'm throwing out so much stuff. I know I really shouldn't complain but oh my god, this is so stressful. :dead: Goodbye get togethers/parties start tomorrow and don't end until Sunday, and I hope I'll be able to have my bags packed by then. I know no matter what I'm going to be with my wife on Monday and nothing I have or don't have will matter, but aaaaaargh. :girlwerewolf2xn: Can't wait to get on that plane and be done with this.

We may be completely thrilled for you but this has been your thread and we want to know everything your going through and yes it's very stressful and why not come and rant here! We need to read happy and sad news that's what this thread is for.

Have you thought of getting a box and sending it home via the post office? Might be worth it and a little less stress. :)(L)

Your very welcome sweet heart just front load right now as much as you can and save everything form the day you send it in then save everything from then on for the interview. We have just found Yahoo messages from 2008 to 2011, wish I had found them before. :)

By the way get your money back from the post office don't let them do this then not even pay for the damage. :D

So sorry to hear that Patnjac....while I was in the states to visit family last March thru June I had to come back to the Netherlands early to be with my husband because I too ended up in the hospital with my own issue PTSV & PACS arrhythmia's. This process is stressful and the worst thing for people with cardiac issues. Thank God that your husband is on his way to you ....what a blessing ! Take care....enjoy your new life with your hubby (F):)
