I cry with you from sheer happiness, I can only imagine how it must feel to be free of this torture. Enjoy your blessing you both deserve it. :) (F)(L)(F):yes::dance:

Thank you, find a good lawyer. I called USCIS but just got the run around on the site all automated couldn't talk to a person. :( the number I called was (800)375-5283 anyone have a different number?

Hello welcome to the thread and yes have your agent call again, these people are idiots nice or not and have them call and say "You the Petitioner were told to have your agent call them to invoice the fee" Actually you should be able to do it yourself so you call and if you get the same thing tell them you need to talk to a Supervisor and if you know the one working supposedly on your case ask for that Sup. Please let us know what happens and I'll be praying on my side you get the fee invoice. Do you still send in everything now? IV and AOS? (F) (L) (F)

Alrighty, I had my agent call just now, and she told them I, the petitioner, was told to have the agent call to invoice the fee. The woman I assume went to check something or ask someone what to do because the agent was hold to wait a minute. After the woman returned, she said the only way she could invoice the fee now was if the petitioner (me) was the agent, which is not the case for me and we had to wait until the supervisor reviewed the DS261, which she said could take an additional 42 days. I just do not understand the logic of not being able to issue me a fee so I can pay money to them. Feeling defeated :(

I'm so sorry this whole thing is ridiculous, they say they want (you know who I mean) immigration reform but it's not true it's just amnesty which will push us back like they normally do. So much for the constitutional right for the pursuit of happiness. :(

So much for the constitutional right for the pursuit of happiness. :(

I have to interject on this one. I don't do it to sound like a know-it-all, a grumpy gus, or what have you. I do it so you can sound credible in any future communications with various outlets as you attempt to shine a spotlight to your plight.

The thing about the pursuit of happiness is in the Declaration of Independence, not the US Constitution. There is no such constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness.

The right to petition the government for redress of grievance is in the constitution but yet we are denied this.

We need to start a petition for this. After all, Will Smith was able to pursue his happiness without boundaries.

Hi all. Hubby is flying home tomorrow. :)

He will be going from Ghana through Dubai airport and then to the US. Does anyone know if Dubai is a POE for Usa ?

Also he cannot find his shot record. Will he need that? When he had his medical they looked at it copied it down so I know it's in that report but he wants to know if you need that little paper.

And lastly, he will be giving over to seal envelopes correct? One from the embassy and one from the medical?

Will he get anything back?

Poor guy is stressing

Sorry, I haven't a clue. :cry::cry: My hubbie don't POE yet.

The POE is the first place he will clear customs at in the U.S. I just recently went to Dubai and my POE was Dallas. Is the flight going to Chicago straight from Dubai?

Anything else I can't answer. The only thing I know is that the sealed envelope is important and he better guard it with his life. Congratulations and enjoy your new life. I'm happy for you.

Tell me where and I'll sign it and send it out via e-mail and any other way I can get people to sign but how?

Will Smith petitioned for something? Used to love that guy but I have a sneaking feeling he's lost to Scientology. Plus his kids are obnoxious and FUGGLY! Oh almost forgot and talentless. :D

Love you girl your Brilliant wish you were my lawyer, I could pay you :D. You should go into immigration law!

Or better yet come to CA and become a Senator or Congresswoman. (F) (L) (F) Seriously!

WOW I'm so deeply happy for you, give him an extra hug from all of us that can't hug our husbands or wives right now ok. Tell him we are all very happy for you both. I'm just thrilled and happy to know your done with this and finally have smile on my face.

I see you got your answer about Dubi I thought it was a POE but wasn't sure so I hunted for answers and if something is sealed don't open it just to be super sure and if he handed the medical papers to the Embassy they have to be in there I do remember them saying to have the X-Ray handy to give at POE. If he doesn't have the X-Ray he needs to go get that an put it in his carry on.

Wish you could fly back with him but he will be fine I'm sure. I'll be praying for a safe flight :D(F) (L) (F)

I would start a petition, but the White House hasn't responded to all of the other petitions that reached the 100,000 signatures. They are soo bad.

Awwww thank you! I thought about practicing law more than once and then stopped. I do have an associate's degree in legal studies however. Do I have to become cruel to be a Congresswoman or a Senator? I think that is part of the job requirement now.:lol:

Hi Jac!! So happy for you! I'm flying home on Sunday. omg!

Dubai does not seem to be a CBP preclearance location, only Abu Dhabi around that area (you can check here http://www.cbp.gov/border-security/ports-entry/operations/preclearance). You could read the POE reviews to see what they ask for... I also got a copy of my shots with the x-ray at the medical but I don't think they'll ask for it... I think I stuck it in the envelope with the x-ray just in case.

I believe it's only one sealed envelope though? I took the sealed envelope from the doctor to the embassy, where they opened it and then made a new super official looking sealed envelope that I picked up with my passport (it has like a government seal and the corner cut off and sealed with tape, and your Immigrant Summary page attached to it). From what I read, they stamp that envelope and it gets sent to TSC for green card production (you paid the ELIS fee right?). I don't think he gets anything back, other than a stamp on his passport.

Good luck!!!

I loved that movie and loved Will Smith what a talent and OMG how handsome is he!

This is why I'm asking everyone to e-mail Oprah's agent and put your e-mail for him to contact you since I think with your sweet voice and beautiful voice you can represent all of us, would be great if Natasha hahaha sorry I don't want to go too shy, can go with you. Now I am stepping ahead not knowing if this guy will care but we need to try. I'm going to e-mail him right now but I can't be the only one to do so. I'll add the information below and for those reading and think this can't happen to you, think again and check this forum out. See how many people are in AP and Denied it's much more frequent than you think. If not and your one of the lucky ones, then please remember how you felt and help us out. Love you all dearly and VJ for having shown me such incredible human beings. (F) (L) (F)

OMG how criminal, getting so much worse this is just crazy, with so many needing jobs one would think the government would want to make more jobs available. Hang in there, keep calling every day. (L)

I have a theory about denials, I think they do it for Revenue there are so many denied for really stupid reasons, the waiver is over $500. Just a thought. :)

Didn't notice they didn't have an e-mail for him but found this. Would be great to send e-mail and snail mail which is what I'm going to do.:)

khuvane@caa.com

Write directly to Kevin at: Kevin Huvane, Creative Artists Agency,

2000 Avenue Of The Stars, Los Angeles, Ca 90067

Or call him at : (424) 288-2000

Letter should be short sweet and very interesting :D.
Subject line? I am ready to lie down and die if ........... Something eye catching, make him have to open the e-mail.

Have not added Janell's e-mail until I get permission. :)

Since you insist. Here is my email monica.h.arachchige@gmail.com

You can have him to contact me. :)

Also meant beautiful voice and face not voice and voice. Immigration needs to be sued for messing with our heads. :(
