I have briefly spoken with my husband about this and he is reluctant to allow me to post a video, which is frustrating. We have not been in AP at the consulate level for more than 4 months and there is no idea of a time frame. If able to convince him to allow me to do this, I think I will focus my video on the aspect of Administrative Processing free zone. They keep the details secret of why we are in AP, but if denied outright, they provide the reasons. Why are they able to provide reasoning only if denied? In addition, they are not set a time frame in which to complete the investigation of further review and that is not justified. 3 years apart and I am lonely.

Some days I wonder how can I keep going? Where can I find the strength? God will make this happen; that much I know. But, when? When can I have my happiness? When can I lie down at night and look to my left and see my husband sleeping next to me? When can I say, this is my husband? When can I go to the store and not have to go alone, but share in tht bonding light of spending quality time in my husband's prescense?

So, until I post a video, I say, "America, Where is my Spouse?"

I feel so alone here. I have no local friends, I go nowhere unless it's with family, and friends I have made hang out with me once or twice and then don't want to hang out anymore. What is wrong with me, I have a great heart; lots of love to give; deserving of some time out to take my mind off this whole process. Why am I able to make online friends I have never met that enjoy my company, but it stop there.

I miss my husband, I need a little bit of social interaction, and I need emotional support, before I completely fall.

Curios question, why do other's timelines appear after their postings, but my timeline does not? I need computer skills.

These embassies place such fear in our spouses overseas, that if we shake up what is happening to us and speak out then they will deny our petition. I hope this can get around and we can get the support we need to change the legislation regarding immigration reform.

Sorry, for my ranting and if my posting is scrambled and doesn't make sense, but I am truly LOST without my husband.

We were in AP for over a year and then they made him inadmissible. Which we knew he was anyway, but then they added a misrepresentation without us knowing what we misrepresented. I compiled our I-601 waiver myself and sent it off at the end of August 2014 and it was approved 01/06/2015. I had told the truth and told USCIS we didn't misrepresent anything, the embassy didn't tell us what we misrepresented, thus we didn't misrepresent. I guess they believed me because they approved it. However, they are reviewing our I-130 again, I don't know why, they should have did that before they approved the waiver, so we are in Administrative review now. sigh..... AP and AR can happen at any step of the way. I am scared once USCIS sends our petition back the embassy will put us in AP again. There is no ending to what they can do to us.

Have you been to the Nigeria section on VJ? There are many people in Nigeria topics section who are going through what you all are experiencing. Unfortunately, this is quite the normal for Nigeria. Hang in there. Go read up on what everyone else is going through. You may very well find some people from Dallas in that section since there is a nice size Nigerian population in Dallas and in Houston to my understanding.

Good luck and hang in here. We can all do it. And I am just so sorry that we all have to go through this.

Ok. We still need more videos!

If you do not want to talk, you don't have to.

You can send me words and a photo and I can make a slide show of your words and a photo.

Come on, we can do it!!

Come on everyone please help out Janelle is very talented Artist and she made my YT video and I wasn't on screen here it is

please if your shy like me then you can do it this way. Even those out of the system can help us out by making what they have lived though during this process.

Question for you ladies and gentlemen out there..... I got CC yesterday, even called to confirm, but just now I got an email saying even though my case is complete I have a checklist for yet more financial evidence that my husband will need to bring to his interview. Should I bring check stubs and/or tax transcripts? Or should I get a letter from my employer?

While your waiting for your interview date, CALL and ask, they should specifically tell you what you need to take so might be a false checklist but it's better if you call and find out for sure, otherwise your just guessing.

I see your signature block. Good job Soloenta!!!

Are you sure it is not a false check list? This happens. However, just in case, check stubs, letter from employer, anything taxable you have like retirement, 401k, stocks, etc.

Thank you sweet heart, thought this is way more important than information on how to get back at nasty reps. :D And thank you again for making the slide show for YouTube you are just the best and we are all lucky and blessed to have you with us.

What exactly does the email say, can you copy and paste it here? Did you by any chance use assets to qualify for the I-864? I've seen this happen quite a few times.

Good luck everyone else, thinking about you all today.

Awwww thank you precious how sweet of you, have you seen the slide show Janelle made for me? Would you like to make one to? Anyway here it is. :) Going to put in on my signature if it let's me

Urgh, I am so sick of waiting. I know, I know, it hasn't been that long. I was lucky, we scored a cheap plane ticket deal and I got to go home for almost three weeks in December/January.

But it's just killing me being away. We're exhausted, we're tired. I had surgery last weekend and seriously, the recovery has sucked hardcore. I've got lingering nerve pain and numbness of the face. I'm still exhausted. I still feel utterly crappy. I really, really want to be curled up in bed watching tv and getting cuddled. This recovery is literally worse than when I had my upper jaw reconstructed or had my abdomen patched up after a hernia. I want to go home.

Add in that my wife has some really major, really stressful deadlines coming up in her grad program and that she's coming down with something and this whole thing is just ridiculously miserable.

I just want to go home. I've gone through a lot of in my life, including actual homelessness. I've spent most of my life feeling adrift, like I didn't belong anywhere, like I didn't really have a home as a result of that . I finally have a place that feels like home and I can't be there and it's so frustrating and upsetting. I've waited my whole life for a home and I just want to get there. This isn't FAIR.

((((((((((Tailor)))))))))) I am so sorry my friend and it doesn't matter how long it is the heart doesn't know time so you have as much right as anyone to be sad and lonely.

I wish I could do something for you to be with your wife when you need her the most but know you have a home and it's not going anywhere find comfort that you have finally found were you belong and it's only a matter of time that you will be there and no one will be able to keep you apart then. Your in my prayers my friend and we are your VJ home so now you have two. :) God bless you and bring you comfort until you can be with your love forever. (F) (L) (F)

Everything you picked out is just so perfect. And the rain, OMG, just makes it that much more emotional. I feel like runing out to the ocean on a rainy day and just sit and cry for all of us.

Too bad i'm in West Texas. What's water? I have to make my own with my tears.

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Soloenta, you have my sympathy.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.

Hi everyone

I am in need ofbsome advice.... so I mailed my i130 out on the 23 of February, the usps messed up and delivered it Sunday the first of March, and since they were closed I am guessing it was picked up on the 2nd. Now I have not heard anything from uscis but now I am afraid that I didnt put attention I130 department on the invelop. Do you guys think I have a reason to worry....

No it doesn't matter at all, did you send it to the Chicago Lock Box? Not sure your supposed to send it there still but I think it's the correct place to send it to. Why not call them and ask them, they will be able to tell you what to do, their number is (800)375-5283 M-F from 8 am to 6 pm Eastern Time, Monday it says is their busiest day of the week. I'll be praying you get good new and they have your files and don't forget to ask for your Receipt number if they do. :)

Such a beautiful message. Que viva el AMOR!! Long live LOVE !.

I agree Soloenta, NVC could use it as well.

glitter-kiss-smiley-emoticon.gif

Yes they can they should be forced to watch it twice a day and happy you liked it. :D And lovely to see you always by the way. :)

No my angel I haven't and don't forget they closed the Yemen Embassy and are now sending them to Cairo. :( Wish everyone would just stop all this BS killing each other for stupid things and just ruin lives. Doesn't mean you wont get your interview just that you might get it for the following month. God willing you will get your prayer answered. (L)

Tell your husband they wont know who put up the video, my husband is the same but for privacy reasons Janelle was unable to put up our only picture on the video so no one needs to know who's video it is. So you don't have to put pictures up or say who or were your husband is from if you don't want.

This is the Support and Rant thread so this is your home and we are here to hold you up when you can't stand on your own.

When it comes to friends do you really want that kind of friendship? I can say I have two friends I know face to face I care to call my friends and some of my best friendships are from people online and two I met in real life and have been blessed to meet them. So those online aren't less than those you have met face to face. I would say for now hold on to you family and when you make new friends don't talk about immigration, they have no clue and you might spook them away from you. How about old school friends you haven't talked to for a long time, those can be the best ones to have fun with. Plus you can have fun with family members to. Wish you lived in Ca, I would love to meet and be friends with you. One last thing, it's NOT you, its THEM and it's their loss. (L)

When I was at the US Consulate in Amsterdam I waited outside while my spouse when inside for his interview. I was lucky enough to see DHL deliver a box to the Russian Consulate next to the US Consulate so I snapped a few pics. I am going to imagine that it was files from NVC . I thought it would be cool for you all to see DHL delivering to a consulate lol.

WOW backed up to the Embassy so must be a lot of boxes delivered wow ty so much very interesting and hhahaaaa scary building ;).

Thank you my angel for thinking of us. :)

Congratulations Soloenta!!!!

She is the new addition to America, Give Me My Spouse/Fiance!!

Everyone please go and read it. She has such a long and heartbreaking journey, much like mine. I was soo surprised to see the similarities with our stories as I too have lived abroad with my spouse and it is very hard to now go so long without him.

Thank you Soloenta. America, give her her Souse!!

No thank you for your time and patience with me on this venture, you are just such a joy my friend your a true blessing and I thank God for you. Just wish you lived in Ca. :)(F) (L) (F)

Everything you picked out is just so perfect. And the rain, OMG, just makes it that much more emotional. I feel like runing out to the ocean on a rainy day and just sit and cry for all of us.

Too bad i'm in West Texas. What's water? I have to make my own with my tears.

:( I know exactly how you feel my sweet friend, the rain hides the tears yet expresses the depth of our pain. Even the sky cries at the sight of such sorrow. :(

Thank you for the compliment but with out you this would not have happened. Next I want to see you on Oprah, we all need to e-mail her agent and let them know whats going on. Oprah is friend with Obama she might be able to talk to him about this and help us all out.

Write directly to Kevin at: Kevin Huvane, Creative Artists Agency,

2000 Avenue Of The Stars, Los Angeles, Ca 90067

Or call him at : (424) 288-2000

Letter should be short sweet and very interesting :D.

Subject line? I am ready to lie down and die if ........... Or better yet, America, Give Me My Spouse/Fiancé, I think I'm going to put

I'm going to commit suicide just to get this guy to open the e-mail :D(F)

No it doesn't matter at all, did you send it to the Chicago Lock Box? Not sure your supposed to send it there still but I think it's the correct place to send it to. Why not call them and ask them, they will be able to tell you what to do, their number is (800)375-5283 M-F from 8 am to 6 pm Eastern Time, Monday it says is their busiest day of the week. I'll be praying you get good new and they have your files and don't forget to ask for your Receipt number if they do. :)

WOW backed up to the Embassy so must be a lot of boxes delivered wow ty so much very interesting and hhahaaaa scary building ;).

Thank you my angel for thinking of us. :)

They out right denied us and the Co simply said I don't believe your a bona fide marriage. What they do to us is criminal yet that is what they are calling us. :(

Yeap. Corruption runs rampant at embassies because they know they are untouchable. But we are going to change this. We should be emailing the Supreme Court everyday! Make the Doctrine of Consular Non-reviewability unconstitutional!!

Is it possible to add a link to your signature were we can send the e-mail and a letter to the Supreme Court and maybe a template of what the letter/e-mail should look like to give an idea? I think we all need to at least send one hard copy/letter to the address. It would be a constant reminder for us to send a daily e-mail and new members to know where to find the information. Would add it to mine also. (L)

I need a way of hiding my timeline but have it still there for people to click on. I know there is a way but last time just couldn't get it to work so if anyone knows how please explain it to me. :) ty

(F)I don't post, but I am always here reading and watching all the videos. They are great, everyone is doing a great job. I am considering making one myself; dont have too much free time but will try. (F) :dancing:

It's comforting to know your there and Janelle can help you out she helped me, we really need more videos we only have maybe four and it's not nearly enough. :)(F)
