All of you need to STOP panicking. My PD is Jan 21, 2014. I already paid my AOS/IV fees and sent the documents and got the email saying they received the docs. Most Jan 2014 filers are in the same page either sending emails or processing the docs they received from sep 2013-Jan 2014 filers. NVC will start sending out further emails as soon as they finished processing this set. Otherwise they will be overwelhmed with all the docs they receive. NO, There is NO retrogression in the horizon. Normally they warn you well in advance before a retrogression. Just sit tight and your turn will come.

Congrats & Thanks Hari29....!!!

This update was really helpful.

Keep us posted here....!!!!

All the best....

my PD august2014 have welcome letter send via mail yesterday

indicates that nvc received the file and the visa number is unavailable

That is not the welcome letter from NVC, they're just letting you know that they have received your file. Welcome Letter will say that you are already eligible for further processing and will let you continue in paying all the necessary fees.

F2a for children under 21, this early approvals and process can be a disadvantage because it decrease CSPA age. I am just wondersing if you get approved early and wait 2 years for your priority date than you get less 2 years on CSPA age. Does anyone think my assumption is correct on this or no.

11/27/2013 - Priority Date

04/01/2015 - I-130 Approved

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

No regtrogreesion bczz this year visa bulletin move slowly nd most of 2013 fillers got visa last year so visa will available for this year also every year they use spillover rules . If they visa bulletin will move more than two months after May maybe it's means they use spillover rules. Don't worry this year no retrogression.
