Guys I've got news. Just got off the Phone with NVC and the agent I spoke to was kind enough to tell me I shouldn't worry that NVC is in the process of inputting our data for further processing.

I asked her when specifically and she said in a matter of weeks many of us would be able to log in. She even asked for my email

So guys, Just keep trying and please update us whenever you're finally able to login.

My PD is March 11th......Since someone with March 19th PD logged in, I guess before the end of next week I'll be able to log in CEAC

What is your PD?

I just call them and they said to wait at least 40 days... At least a good news but still late... :)

yes franklin...i did called around an hour back. But that gentleman told the welcome letter will be issued in next 2 -3 days.

But to my surprise i got welcome letter now itself along with AOS fee bill invoice... :) :)

How about you? did you received the mail yet...??

Thank you for sharing this information to us. It means a lot. Anyway, I wonder up to what month they are talking about? Up to April, May, June 2014? Maybe I should try to call next week to get some infos. Yes keep updating. Thank you to everyone ☺

Hi guys,

Quick question for you (please): do they send the "welcome letter" to the petitioner (me) or the beneficiary (my wife)?

My PD is april 14 (so still patiently waiting ;) )

Thanks

It's depends on the email you submitted from the start. I called NVC and gave them my email in addition to my petitioners email they already have. So now we have two emails in their record

in my call they said the they will start documentation work in next 40 days...

I don't understand what the 40 days mean. Does it mean we'll have access to ceac.state.gov in 40 days time?

Update: Someone in my country received welcome letter today. His PD is March 12, 2014. I want to hear if someone from April and May got it too...

Who exactly from Nigeria? Cos I'm also from Nigeria

Oh thanks a lot for your answer :)

I really hope the process is going to speed up a little bit in the near future; one year has just gone away for us.

Today I went to the Uscis in the city I live to ask for information but, of course, the only thing they know is the average waiting time for a FB2A filer: 2 years.

I am also thinking about hiring an immigration lawyer to take care of the upcoming steps - even though I am aware the documents that need to be filed are not a big deal and easy to fill.

At this point I am a bit frustrated and concerned of possibly making mistakes :)

No need to pay an immigration lawyer. It's waste of money. If you've passed the USCIS stage then you've passed the stage you're likely to make mistakes.

Believe me... The good folks here in visa journey know better than those immigration lawyers.

Just ask questions whenever you feel confused and the guys here will happily put you through
