I had it with me but the OC didn't take it and as a result, I'm all confuse as to what I'm doing or suppose to be doing.

Omg! Their instructions said for us to bring the paper and they didn't even take it. Like this process hasn't been stressful enough! When I emailed the embassy the other day, they answered me within the hour. Maybe u can send an email 2 see what u need 2 do. Sorry u have 2 go thru this!

Now for medical preparation.



Good luck to all who are waiting. I had gotten so despondent to a point where I haven't been here in over 2 weeks. I basically stalked my email inbox...every morning. I checked this morning and there was nothing. It was my husband who sent me a text to ask if I saw the email. I was super excited.



But, its good to know that the wheel is turning again.

April 2, 2014: I-130 Filed with Chicago Lockbox

April 7, 2014: Packaged received by USCIS

April 8, 2014: Received NOA 1

Sept. 17, 2014: Received NOA 2. Case APPROVED with no RFEs

Oct. 17, 2014: Case # Assigned by NVC (Same day case was received, according to Julian # calculation)

Oct. 21, 2014: Received letter from NVC

Oct. 22, 2014: DS-261 completed and submitted to NVC

Oct. 31, 2014: Paid AOS invoice


Dec 08, 2014: Sent in IV & AoS packages

Dec 11, 2014: Package received by NVC

Dec 12, 2014: Received email from NVC acknowledging receipt. I assume this is our scan date

Dec 25, 2014: Paid IV bill

Dec 29, 2014: Funds deducted from bank account. DS-260 became available, and was completed

Dec 30, 2014: Submitted DS-260

Feb. 12, 2015: Case Complete with NO checklist! whoot, whoot!

Mar. 25, 2015: Received P4. Interview

April 29,2015: Completed medical examination

May 13, 2015: Interview Date APPROVED :dancing:

May 19, 2015: Received Package

Oct. 22, 2015: Travelled to my new home :) (In order to get IR-1 Green Card) Expiration date on IR-1/CR-1 Visa - Oct. 29, 2015

Nov 10, 2015: Received Social Security Card

Jan 4, 2016: LPR Green Card arrived.

Thank you! It was hard to be around with all those approved people jetting off to their loved ones but now that could be me next week .. maybe.. My flight is booked for Wednesday so I think I will be pushing it. But we will see, I will know if it gets posted today or tomorrow whether I can go.

A scanned copy should be fine since most companies provide them to employees electronically for printing anyway!!!....I sent my mom a printed copy for her interview last year (they did not even ask for it).

Just got off phone with nvc. Interview scheduled today for 5/14. CC was 3/12

Finally, my case was completed today and when we called to confirm, we were told by the operator we should get scheduled for our interview tomorrow. Fingers crossed I get April. There doesn't seem to be hardly any recent case completes for others here in the UK.

Hello friends

My interview is scheduled on May 12 at mumbai embassy. I scheduled my Biometrics on May 10 and selected Visa pick up at Mumbai VFS. Can anyone know how long it will take to collect my passport at Mumbai vfs pick up location after interview? Can I change the pick up location or have the option to get my passport couriered to me after my interview? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank god andlolosays told me that our status would go back to AP before issued. I would have DIED if I had seen that and not known that means they're printing the visa. Hoping for ISSUED tomorrow... if that happens and it gets put in the post, I might be still able to go on Tuesday.
