Interview March 10, 2015 - AP(Issued yellow slip) taken passport

18 March 2015 (Updated) -READY

20 March 2015 (status updated) -READY

23 March 2015 (status updated) -READY (Sent an email to the embassy )

24 March 2015 (status updated) -READY

25 March 2015 (status updated) -READY

* No reply to my email

* I handed over My new passport to the embassy since my PP getting expired (old passport has my B1/B2 visa stamp and it's Withdrawal at the port of entry WITH (WD stamp))

Today my husband asked whether i submitted my previous passport and i said NO... and he gone MAD.. so what shall i do now..Embassy never contacted me and up to now they didnt reply to my email. if they want my passport i can give and it's 5KM from house to Embassy.

I am worried.

yes sir.my question was,as shes doesnt work now, becaz she is not in usa. its not gonna be problem right?

iT wont be a problem, but they might ask your wife to provide a legal letter of explanation for not filling her taxes for 2014, (the irs website will provide you the explanation) even if she did not work and was living abroad for the rest of 2014.

Yes.. As per the forums that i have read all this time you almost with the visa, i am happy for you..

Mine was in READY from 18 March to 25th march 2015.

I know.. I've read that before too.. but I have become so battered by this process that I feel like being optimistic is dangerous. Maybe tomorrow it will be AP again.

Hello Everyone,

I had my interview on 18th , received passport on 20th , trying to pay the ELIS Fee. I am entering case id and alien number as it is on the visa stamp in my passport. but still it says

The A-Number or DOS Case ID you entered is incorrect. Please enter the A-Number and DOS Case ID listed on the USCIS Immigrant Fee handout you received from the U.S. Embassy or consulate.

ERROR: NOTE: If your visa was issued less than five (5) days ago, you may not be able to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee at this time. Based on the date you entered, we recommend that you log into your USCIS ELIS account on or after March, 30, 2015 to pay the fee.

Please suggest what should I do?

Think positive. This should be it. They might have realized they need not ask for something a self employed does not have. Its coming..

Well, we also did send in what they asked for when we said we couldn't give a w2 ("a signed and dated letter explaining why he cannot get a w2"). So maybe they accepted it?

From what i read from this site, from AP to READY will eventually become ISSUED.

It will come. I am positive.

Guys I just checked my case status on CEAC and it is saying ISSUED!!! What does that mean??? Is it time to pick it up??

Gosh, I hope so. I understand that it may not come in time for me to leave when I had intended (Tuesday night, it is now Wednesday night) but gosh.. wouldn't that be magical
