so, did the Dr. confirm, when his final reports will come and when he can appear at interview?

Case was completed on January 5th and interview was on February 25but for medical reasons my husband didn't make it to the interview Dr. Said you can't attend the interview with out you medical reports his medical was on February 5 and the report we are waiting it takes months so we are almost there!

In his chest X-ray Dr. Saw something so they just want to confirm its not TB

Hubby just got done with interview. Visa APPROVED !!! OMG, i'm in shock right now. litterally crying and laughing at the same time... can't believe it.

He said CO was really hard on him asking tons of questions.

First question was one i swore would never come up. He was asked what my SSN is. Is this a weird question or is it just me taking things lightly as i always do?

Anyways, he's back at the embassy with few docs they needed from him to process/print out his visa. Will give me the whole rundown when he's done.

Just stopping by to say congrats to everyone that has been approved, and good luck to everyone that has an interview coming up.

I'm so excited and nervous for my husbands interview on the 9th and can't wait until the 6th when I finally get to go see my husband after a very long year.

That's awesome glad you will be there with him. Don;t forget to hand over your passport to husband at embassy and have him hand over when he turns his in.

hi i just sent new documents and it arrived today 10am. i called yesterday to update my email but i never got an email from them yet. my new scan date is march 24..

My interview was on 10 March 2015 and they update my case on 18 March from AP to ready and still it shows ready.

Normally sri lankan embassy they issue visa after two days.

One of my friend attend to CR1 visa on Tuesday and she got a her visa after days.

It should then change to issued shortly. That's the process from AP to Ready to Issued. since 18th Ready that's 4 business days.

I am sure it was an ice breaker to see how your husband would respond Not like he would know (or maybe her does). But so many won't say they don't know they will try and guess and F it all up. Glad he made it through. Approved. We love hearing that.

Congraaatz for all approved visas and ccs!!

Iwas reading that if the applicant became under administrative prossesing after the interview the embassy would keep the passport ..what if the applicant was not residing in that country and has to travel back ,how would this prosess go?

Notify the embssy and tell them you need to travel and need your passport. Once they are ready to issue you Visa they will notify you to bring in your Passport.

We haven't heard anything back yet from Dr. He won't have his interview until the Dr. Send his medical to embassy which will be soon InShallah

This whole I130 process has been really hard it's going to be two years almost I applied on May2013 please keep us in your prayers!

Your husbands Visa interview and they asked what your social security number is? o.O Is that even fair and allowable? I mean I know they can do and ask what they want but really?

Everything is fair and allowable. Not like they don;t know the SS number or your private business. You would be amazed what they ask at some these interviews from your sexual positions to frequency to what kind of birth controls.

Much of it is to check response more than to get an answer. Not like you can get mad and storm off.
