Hubby just got done with interview. Visa APPROVED !!! OMG, i'm in shock right now. litterally crying and laughing at the same time... can't believe it.

He said CO was really hard on him asking tons of questions.

First question was one i swore would never come up. He was asked what my SSN is. Is this a weird question or is it just me taking things lightly as i always do?

Anyways, he's back at the embassy with few docs they needed from him to process/print out his visa. Will give me the whole rundown when he's done.

Thank you all. God bless!

Your husbands Visa interview and they asked what your social security number is? o.O Is that even fair and allowable? I mean I know they can do and ask what they want but really?

I know!!! Do spouses in the U.S. even share that info with each other? I wonder...isn't this personal/confidential info? Like why on earth does he need to know my SSN for? Especially living outside of the U.S. I have a feeling they were looking for the slightest mistake to dismiss him. What they didn't know was God's plan for us. He promised to end this misery that lasted 7 years and nothing or no one could say otherwise! To him be the glory!!!

My husband would have NO idea what so ever what my SS number is. Nor do I find a reason for him to know o.O Maybe I do now know a reason but dang that is just crazy. I have 5 kids and don't even know their SS numbers. This is just nothing we know off hand. If they can ask that what other kind of loops and wrenches can they throw in and ask?
