My child entered the U.S. on yesterday!!!!! The process was smooth-we had not issues and he went to school today.

Its been a week since the last VJ member got an interview scheduled. Is this normal ?

I explained earlier in the thread. But interview scheduling is not a daily event. There is a about a 1 to 2 week window than its closed until the next month. Most embassies will keep scheduling until they either run out of slots or run out of petitions for the slots they have.

Usually the first week of the month it starts and continues until mid month. Usually about the 15th it's over. May scheduling should start possible last week of this month since April 1st is a Wednesday.

at the interview do I need to sort documents the same way submitted to NVC woth bar-coded cover letter? Or just in the way the embassy asked?

Put your documents in whatever order that will give you easy access when asked to get them.

2 weeks and 5 days away for my husband and daugter's interview. I am so nervous right now.

I decided to get new joint sponsor with very high income but he filed married so my question is, will he combine both their income or only his is enough since both have separate enough income to sponsor, also if both are needed will the wife also file a separate i-864 form and will her documents also needed like the main joint sponsor. Dwheels76 and others help me understand this

My other question is , some people told me that the embassy won't give me another chance if they don't accept this time, is it true, I though they give people multiple opportunities to send the correct documents

My husband got his passport and visa everything in the mail yesterday! He will be here in just over two weeks weeeeeeeeeee

Squeeeeeee! I'm so excited for you guys. Can't wait til that's me.

I feel a little more positive today, but the weekends really suck Nothing can possibly progress and I hate it! But I'm starting to feel better, with a lot of support from lovely people like andlolosays and my IRL friends and family. Lots of reminders that this is not an "if" but a "when", and if I have to change my flight that's okay, we knew it was a risk to book it and the change fees aren't that bad really. Totally manageable. If my passport is in the post by next Thursday though, I'm good to go when I intended. It just doesn't look amazingly likely that that will happen.

Hey i have question can please help me witg this question its a my wofe had a interview on jan 7 2015 and cuz of medican we had to canceled it and now medical is cleared i need to reschdule the interview and when i log on it, it doesnt show any calender to pick the date it just says there is nothing available right now can u tell me how can i reschdule my interview

I'm sorry but to help you we need further info You have no timeline so we have no way of knwing what emassy ou speak of. Wjat website are you going to to schedule your interview If its the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/do/index.htmland says no availability than you will have to keep checking until an opening happens not much else you can do. You can try emailing the embassy telling them you are ready and they schedule maybe if your embassy does that.

Sorry for not putting enough info its in india new delhi embassy and can you tell me when does the slots usually opens like in the end of month or beginning of the month im new i dont knw that much about this stuff Edited March 21, 2015 by NK311
