Okay first breathe..................wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......sssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Yes the Y means the NVC has it it is sent no you don;t have to get another copy. Hopefully you made a copy of everything you sent to NVC and that is what you can take to interview if you like just in case.

This is an old form they sent out Part 1 and Part 2 was the old DS-230. So disregard. No its not the DS-260. You should have the confirmation page printed though.

Whatever you submitted to NVC is not needed to be replicated at embassy if you have a copy and want to bring for our own peace of mind thats great. You only have to being I-864 when you have updated it.

I am now out of panic mode.

dwheels76, thank you so much for the clarification, your help is again invaluable. Good luck to all, we're almost done, hang in there people!

Just got done with the interview process here in Taipei. We've been approved!

The interview itself was extremely simple. They asked my wife five questions tops. It lasted maybe 2 minutes. The CO didn't ask me any questions at all. I didn't have to show anyone my 2014 W2s or our cosponsor's 2014 W2s. They did ask me for my 2014 tax return, but I told them I haven't applied yet, which confused them for a second. I then told them that taxes are not due until the end of April and they said okay, fine. After the interview was done the CO said congratulations you've passed, but then gave us a rejection letter! The letter said that we had to come back two days later for my wife to say her oath.

We went back to the consulate today to do the oath which lasted 10 seconds, then gave the CO her passport and he said we should receive it in the mail within three business days. Amazingly simple end to our amazingly complicated green card process.

Can anyone tell me where to check our visa status. I've been using this: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==It still just says READY, but the status updated date is today, which I believe means our case has been touched.

Are you guys checking any other sites?

Thanks to everyone for all the help! This is an wonderful community.

Dear Azim

Thank you very much for your reply.

I saw all your post that you have been made at NVC with the lost documents.

They should go with the proper system with the work load.

I am happy everyone going to have see their family members soon.

My husband's visa was approved on Tuesday, but when I signed into the ceac site, it says it's in Administrative Processing. I thought this was for when it's not approved and they're waiting for something? Is it also listed as that when they're printing it?

LoLo, I'm just "supposing", but I know that after you are approved by the Officer, your visa has to be physically printed and put into your passport. I'm betting that the status goes into AP when your visa foil is still in the printing/application process - and that it will change when your packet is ready to mail back to you. Last year, the printing process was broken for about a week, and that is what happened. We never saw our status go from READY to AP - but we were not online for about 24 hours after our interview (we flew in from the Gold Coast). It might have - but we still got the packet on Thursday afternoon (after a Tuesday interview). I think you will be OK - but I know it causes your stomach to drop!

What does the visa status change to after the passport has been mailed? Mine currently is under READY but the explanation just says your case is ready for the interview, which has been completed and approved already.

Hello VJ friends

My status change to AP to Ready

What does it mean.

It means you are out of AP and now you need to watch for it to change to Issued and then you can pick up Passport/Visa. Congratulations.

Hello,

congratulations on the CC. They might be waiting for slots to open up at the consulates or they might be full so they might put you for May. Try calling NVC for some insight and your peace. But there have been many late scheduling.

just a quick question...

My spouse's interview is scheduled for April 1. I sent my 2013 tax transcripts to NVC. In I-864, i mentioned 2013 tax as my latest return when I sent it to NVC last December.

Now, I filled my 2014 tax return last week...

Should I ask my spouse to take updated I-864 (with 2014 tax info on it) along with 2014 tax returns to the interview ? OR is it sufficient to just take 2014 tax returns without the updated I-864?

BK...you never know exactly what they will ask for. They might ask for both, just the return, or nothing at all. Since you have already filed your 2014 return, why don't you fill out an updated I-864 JUST IN CASE they want it. They might not - but it might keep your spouse out of AP if your spouse has the updated copy and is asked for it.

Better to be over-prepared, no?

Thank you Sukie...I agree with you. I'll ask my spouse to take updated I-864 as well along with 2014 tax returns.
