Guys I am confused as heck about the documents needed at the interview. I apologize in advance if the answers are right before my eyes but I can't seem to think straight today.

- Documents bearing the Y code (The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate) , do I need to bring another copy to the interview? It is really not clear.

- Immigrant Visa Application Part 1 and Part 2. This is the DS260 right? I don't see any part 1 or part 2, just one big form I printed out.

- Is a copy of the already submitted AOS I-864 needed?

Sorry sorry sorry again if I am missing the obvious, I just need some firm answers. This community have been such a tremendous help.

I am the beneficiary.

Question, guys: In my P4 letter's document list, I got "FINANCIAL EVIDENCE - I" which is "This form is incomplete. You must present a completed form at your interview.",

Now, I'm baffled here. First of all, they didn't explain this any further. Which one of the 3 i-864 forms that we sent is incomplete? And which part of it? Or are they talking about tax returns/payslips?

Secondly, without knowing which part is incomplete, I can't really present them a "completed" form.

Thirdly, they already checklisted us for an incomplete i-864 once. So I'd think that would already fix the issues that they pointed out before.

Should I call NVC and ask them to elaborate on it? Or should I write the embassy instead? (the case is at the embassy right now). What do you guys think?

Ok called NVC and they explained that it was just one field in i864a that was wrong. But come on, they never explained that in the email, so the only way I could know it is by calling them. Do they expect everyone to call them like that increase their call queues?

Awesome! Congrats. My interview is at Sydney in three weeks. I'm flying from Perth. Can you ask your husband if he saw anyone take a regular size hang bag in with them. I'm wondering if it's allowed.

He said he sat there and looked straight forward cause nervous. So, not sure haha.

Okay first breathe..................wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......sssssssssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Yes the Y means the NVC has it it is sent no you don;t have to get another copy. Hopefully you made a copy of everything you sent to NVC and that is what you can take to interview if you like just in case.

This is an old form they sent out Part 1 and Part 2 was the old DS-230. So disregard. No its not the DS-260. You should have the confirmation page printed though.

Whatever you submitted to NVC is not needed to be replicated at embassy if you have a copy and want to bring for our own peace of mind thats great. You only have to being I-864 when you have updated it.
