For Taipei's consulate specific interview instructions it says that the DS-230 forms part I and II must be provided plus our I-864 forms. Original and one copy of each. Does that mean that I must bring these to the interview? That seems ridiculous and didn't the NVC send these to the consulate already?

Our interview is tomorrow by the way, please wish us luck!

That's old information, the DS-230 has been replaced by the online DS-260 which will have already been submitted. A new I-864 will not be needed unless the information on it has fundamentally changed.

The only fee that may need to be paid would be a courier fee to have the passport returned, that requires a Dakar specific answer. However, all fees related to the visa itself have already been paid. If a visa is issued, then it will be necessary to pay the green card production fee to USCIS.

I do have one more question. I'm the petitioner and I have been living abroad in Taiwan for the last 4 years with my wife. I established domicile while we were at NVC. Do I have provide all of these documents again for the interview tomorrow? Or will they already have them all as they almost certainly sent there from NVC?

So my document arrived at the embassy last week and my status says Ready and till know I didntnrecieve the P4 letter .. at NVC they told me as soon as they arrive I should schedule an interview ..

I have a question conserning domicile part .. my wife left USA since she was 6 she doesnt have any sort of proof of domicile ..we are together from two years .. and shes a student of full time at university. Im goinig to stay at my joint sponsor's -which is my friend- house while I can rent one .. any ideas what should I say at the embassy for the domicile part?

did any one get refused for not having residence in the United States?

As far as domicile your wife has to show establishment of a domicile or no you won't be approved.

Here's the Domicile establish reestablish list as presented in the NV Process Wiki. Better start gathering your evidence now.

Will have interview on 19 march I have every thing except chat logs printed. Is that must? What if I show my phone incase if get asked cause we comminicate most of the time on whatsapp

Hey guys, i literally just read this whole thread just now and im in panic mode. I have an interview at the buenos aires embassy april 16, 2015. Heres my questions:

1) We did not receive a "packet 3", we got a p4 interview letter only a few days after CC, did I miss it?

2) The embassy instructions nor medical instructions were emailed to us...just the p4. did we miss this?

3) There is no mention of dhl online registration anywhere on the p4 letter and this is all we have received,

4) On our p4 letter we were not asked to bring any financial evidence (Y), but should we bring the 2014 taxes or transcripts along with new i-864?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

1. K1 information doesn't pertain to you.
2. Please go to your Country's portal there you will find all the info about medical and the doctors. You aren't a K1 ad most embassies do not send out and medical info. Once you are done at NVC you are on your own. http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Argentina&cty=Buenos%20Aires
3. DHL is embassy specific. Not all embassies deliver Passport/Visa DHL. You should also be going to US Embassy website to see if there is more info. But everything really is here on the portal.
4. If you filed you should update yes and being an original I-864 with now 2014, 2013 and 2012. If you haven't filed just rig 2014 W2 and most current paystub to interview.

They have what they need in the file. However, as a backup, it would be a good idea to have the documents ready for submission in the event that the evidence became separated from the file and they ask for it.

Depends DHL pertaining to what? Petition to embassy that's on your own just watch your ceac to go from In-transit to Ready. Some embassies you haven't to signup for DHL for Visa delivery. Check your country portal and embassy website also. Check NVC prepare for interview like the prior poster posted.

Thats obsolete information DS-230 no longer exists. I am sure that information is/was for people doing DCF. Thats not you.

People if you were processed through NVC there are no more forms and such for you to fill out or fees to pay Just get your medical read your embassy site see if there are registration for Visa/Passport delivery.

Every embassy is different what they like to see. I know for Lagos Phone logs and pictures. Have you read through all the embassy interview reviews to see what others say. Those reviews can be full of good info what to bring. A must a requirement no.

No you can't take you phone pass the checkpoint. No CO is going to read through your phone anyway.
