OMG our AOS fee just changed from paid to n/a, literally in the last 20 minutes. I've checked it like 100 times today. I can't believe it!!!!!!!! Our scan date was 1/30.

Im still waiting on case number, but Im trying to gather all my documents ahead of time, I have like 2 questions.

1st. My income is only based off my w-2 and I qualify for the 184 EZ, can I use that one even though I have the joint sponsor?

2nd. My joint sponsor is not related to me at all, he is a coworker. Can I still use him?

We received our case number today! One step closer! How long has it been taking you all to be able to pay your AOS fee after getting a case number?

I also have a question about Part 3 of the I-864. Where it says "I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2". I checked Yes, but then when re-reading the instructions it made it seem like you only need to check something there if there are two joint sponsors. Was I correct marking "yes"?

It depends.....some people it's the day of. For me it took 5 days after case # was assigned until the AOS fee was available. (see signature for timeline).

USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Just phoned NVC, they said my case is currently being reviewed (scan date 30 dec). I asked them how much longer to wait - they said they don't know and that I can check again next week. (I also called last friday and then they said it wasn't being reviewed yet, so I'm guessing they just started reviewing it recently). I wonder if their 'reviews' usually take as long as a whole week?

Case complete today...Saw 3 N/As on the website in the morning. Also called NVC to confirm.

My scan date 12/29/2014 and No checklist.

Wishing & praying for case completes for everyone soon.

Call once a week sometimes is less then 45 days. Mine was assigned on 25 days. from Texas services center.

I definitely plan on calling once a week.. One of the January filers, whose timeline i follow already had case number assigned and ds-261 and aos billed in 8 days and there is no indication of expedite. I am praying for a quick turn around.

Feb 1st 2016 - Sent more in-depth info on assets as requested. Received the next morning

yes...call them to get NVC case #. once u have case #, then give your email address for them to contact you.
