Sadly mine will be ep so nothing has changed for me once I am able to get a case number . :/

============

I read someone got theirs today after case was only at NVC one week. Yours should be coming soon with all the changes they are doing. Fingers crossed!

Yes, congrats!!! Can you tell me your scan date and if you sent them electronicly? Since I'm still waiting day 85 :(

Oh My...85 days....but then I read you got a checklist today. Bummer. Hang in there, you are very close....get those pc in so you can be done with this....I'm prayin' for you!!! ;)

Hey guys... quick question. Once a checklist packet is sent back to the NVC, is there an estimated time-frame we could expect for them to review it once it is scanned in? Does it actually take the whole 60 days normally or does it tend to be a quicker process because they are just reviewing the checklist item?

Like the rest of you, we are trying to put a plan together and the inability to predict anything with them has made it merely impossible!

Thanks everyone!

canadiangirl39 said she called about her checklist they said should be 45 days from resubmission. read somewhere else should be 21. both are better than 60!!!

I just got 2 emails from nvc, checklists all this waiting time and at the end I get checklists for things I already sent. They want birth certificates, and marriage certificates, that are the original copies all I did is scanned them. And they want police certificates from my mom from Lebanon, my mom hasn't lived in Lebanon for almost 20 years!! And they also want a police certificate from my dad from Israel and my dad left his country when he was 18 and now he is 60 years old, they both been living in Jordan for almost 20 years I sent them police certificates from Jordan since they live there! How am I going to get police certificates from Lebanon and Israel!??? Has anyone had his before?? please help me

bummer....

Ok.. But my dad left Israel cause he was a warrior this was 30 years ago, I don't think Israel will give him one, it says on his checklist to go to the local Israeli embassy but for sure they won't give him one! My mom can obtain one from Lebanon cause she visits there a lot. But as far as my dad he can't, it's so frustrating.

get some proof that he can't get one and send that proof in, i'm sure nvc will recognize this. good luck.....fingers and toes crossed for you !!!

Well I guess we are coming to the end of another month at the NVC. Congrats to everyone who got their CC's and the best of luck to all of us (including my self) who are still waiting.

I also have to get another police certificate for when I eventually get to interview. I have just checked on the ACRO website and we can now apply for UK police certificates online which is great!

I have one more question.. Now since it took 85 days for them to review my documents the first time, in the checklist email they said allow 60 business days. Will they really take that long to review it?? And I'm sending it thru email.

good question. someone from canada got a checklist (with a march scan date) and they did not ep, they used the mail system, the nvc told her 42 days to review once docs were mailed. others here are suggesting review checklist documents are really about 21 days. I wish i could confirm with you.....maybe best to call nvc to ask.

fingers crossed for you, its your turn to get a cc.....85 days, whew!!!!

Lol having a baby is much easier lol.. I called them to ask them about the police report they are asking from my dad to send from a country that there is no way for him to get it from since he is not allowed in that country.. She told me to let him go the Israeli embassy in Jordan and try to obtain it from there, if they can not give it to him they need to write down why? And give him that paper. And then I asked her can I send the nvc the paper thru mail? She said No cause Jordan only takes EP!!!

Alright folks, the April thread has been posted: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/543004-nvc-filers-april-2015/

Please, everyone, make your way on over there. Every month, EVERYONE moves to the current month, which is now April. This isn't like the I-130 filer threads where you stay in the same group the entire process. For NVC, we move each month ;) Within a day or so, Ryan H will come along and close this thread, so no further comments will be allowed. So save yourself the trouble and join the new thread now :)

Check in......29/12/2014 checklist new scan date...60 days mark and still nothing . I guess I won't be getting interview in March ;(

Scan date of 01-15-2015 with acknowledgement received on 2-13-2015 indicating 60 day wait time anticipated. 60 days passed on 03-15-2015 without any notice. Called NVC on 03-30-2015 and was advised that current wait time is presently closer to 90 days.

Someone with joint sponsor please help!

One of the sponsor would be the spouse and second one would be your actual sponsor. So for i-864 part-1, Do I need to select 1e ?

For my spouse it would be 'first' under 1(e) and for my sponsor it would be 'second' under 1(e)

Am i right?

Also she doesn't had any income in 2013 nor did she filed for taxes so shall I simply write 13.a as 2013 and point 13.a.1 as '0'

Thanks guys!
