ep is as is, still the 60 to 70 wait. no news about them speeding up the process :(

looks like snail mail (which is no longer snail mail---its faster) is best....which urks me cause had i know this 2-3 weeks ago I would have sent in paper copies too. someone from canada (eki) got their cc today post 21 days scan date! amazing as it is....looks like us who have ep have to wait it out full term!!!! grrr.

Someone posted earlier that the NVC reps were admitting that there was a problem with the EP system so I was just curious if anyone had heard anything about it lately. I keep seeing the message when I sign into the ceac site that they will be performing maintenance on Thursday so while it probably doesn't have anything to do with electronic submissions, I am secretly hoping it fixes things somehow.

I wish I had known too...I think that is the hardest part...that if I had just waited another few weeks I would have known better, mailed in my documents and been done already. I saw that too and while it makes me feel sick inside I have to remind myself that they technically started the journey before I did so it is fair that they end it sooner as well. You have had quite the long adventure though so I don't know how you stay so grounded! lol I'm worried also for what this will do to the wait times at the embassy seeing as how we all have to go through the same one. With the NVC hammering out approvals there will now probably be an even bigger backlog in Montreal. I was banking on a June interview but I'm starting to think August might be more realistic. Sigh...

ahh, big bummer! keep on them and also your congressman. if i were you i'd be meeting them in person rather than doing correspondence over email. face to face has greater impact. you've had too many issues to sit back and wait. is it possible for you to do a face to face with your congressman or one of his reps?

This is probably the same reason why the snail mailers have been having incredible review periods of sometimes 20 days or less. The reviewers who normally would be working on the EP are not working on the physical mail

I have been wondering that too! If they ever get the issue with EP fixed will everyone see a bit of a slow down?!

there;s been some talk that reps at the nvc are now referencing a 45 day wait not 60. impressive! i'm not going to call to verify, news travels very fast on vj.

perhaps your right, the thursday maintenance might just be that....fixing the glitch or shut down and all reps must work on the EP backlog. who knows??

Hi guys...

Quick question.

I paid my AOS fee and sent AOS package (scan date 3/25), but I'm still waiting for invoice of IV fee. I called them today and they said it would take another 7 days =(.

Can I mail my IV package without the Bar coded sheet, given that I haven't paid that fee?

Thanks

Yes, you can send your IV. Use the bar code you got for AOS, it is the same bar code they use for IV. Don't send it with out the bar code. Good luck

Hi

I thought you have to send AOS and supporting docs in one package..
