I did mail them in... I've been following this thread and reading about the complications people have been having with EP :( I'm sure they will get it straightend out soon for those who filed electronically!

Good! I'm so glad! It's too late for me but it's good that we can help others to not get stuck in the same situation. Think of me when you have your case complete and I'm STILL waiting!!! Hahaha just kidding ;)

Awwww!!! You poor thing!!! They will probably clear it up soon and leave all of us 1950 style filers out to dry! :/ It's cliche to say, but I do believe that everything happens in perfect timing... It's hard to see in that moment, but it definitely becomes clear in the future (at least for me!) This freaking visa process has forced me into seeing and believing this!

Best of luck to you! It will be over before we know it!

Hello Good people!

I have been at the NVC for about 11 months and has finally gotten an interview in a weeks time.

(This is all due to AOS complications so I do not want to make mistakes anymore)

I know very well I have to be on the April interview thread but I wanted to post on both threads to see how fast I can get some help as I have only one week.

My husband is the beneficiary and when we submitted his AOS I was the petitioner and sponsor. A month after that I lost my job and at the end of the year, my income wasn't enough and didn't meet to support and sponsor him.

My brother who is married with a kid, has agreed to be our sponsor and he files a joint tax return with his wife. He makes enough alone to sponsor my husband and we are going to use just his income even though he files a joint return with his wife. Now how do we go about this, is it possible to just use his income or does his wife's income have to be added since they filed together. Can anybody give me a link as to how he my brother will fill out his 864 for my husband? If his wife will have to be added too, how do we go about it- can I have a link for that option too please.

Now about me I am in school now and unemployed so my income and other things have changed since I filed the 864 for hubby. Do I also have to fill out a new and updated affidavit of support form for him to take ? Can I just do a change in sponsor at this last minute?

Thank you

Hi Guys ,

I called NVC today and they said they would be requiring 2013 Fedral income tax return, IRS printout for my wife. I am super confused now. My wife she is living with me from past 2 years in India. So there is no way she can file the tax return. Also they told me your wife has to be one of the sponsor. But if she has not filed the tax, she is not having any income how can she be my sponsor.

I am not sure what to do now. As per the mail I have to resend the AOS document, shall I resubmit the same with my wife as joint sponsor or what to do. I am super confused now.

Please help guys!

Thanks

The transcripts are only available after the IRS has processed your return and issued you your refund (if you're getting one).

So, the question is, has the IRS finished processing your return yet?

Ok, thanks! It has been accepted already, but you're right, we didn't get the refund yet, so I guess we wait ;)

Shouldn't be too much longer then. Once you do get the refund issued to you, then try checking for the transcript

Congratulations!!!! I do not know the answer to your question. We have the same scan and CC date. I still haven't gotten a letter of CC from NVC, but I was told by phone my case is completed. How did you find out your interview date? By phone or did you receive a letter from NVC. Good luck with the interview!!!!

I got an email from NVC about my interview.

No, if the only problem was on the form, you just need to re-submit a correct I-864 (ALL the pages, not just the one with the mistake on it). Make sure the new one is signed and dated again as well.

Thanks Saylin...I appreciate the response. Fingers crossed that this is all they need and I don't get another checklist
