Maybe the times they accuse us of lying when we say we know things are getting reviewed in under 60 days will start to decrease too!

I'm not sure why there is any need to even mention that to a rep? When I called, I asked specifically what I needed and didn't engage in talk. They're phone reps from a contract company. I'm often surprised the call center is still located in the same building.

Hello friends

My interview is scheduled on May 12 at mumbai embassy

I scheduled my Biometrics on May 10 and selected Visa pick up at Mumbai VFS.

Can anyone know how long it will take to collect my passport at Mumbai vfs pick up location after interview?

Can I change the pick up location or have the option to get my passport couriered to me after my interview?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It could have been taken rudely, but it was not meant that way, and it took many readings from me to understand what was so offensive to you. I'm sorry you feel that I was being rude to you, it was not my intention. Again, have a wonderful journey. I hope it's over with quickly and that the help you get from veterans on VJ have been of some use to you.

Congratulations!!!! I do not know the answer to your question. We have the same scan and CC date. I still haven't gotten a letter of CC from NVC, but I was told by phone my case is completed. How did you find out your interview date? By phone or did you receive a letter from NVC. Good luck with the interview!!!!

I received my email from NVC this morning stating they received my pack last Friday (March 20th) and it says "We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents."

Add me to the long list of you hoping for no checklists!

Also, I honestly have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for those of you whom take the time to help the rest of us newbies. There are so many things I would have screwed up if I hadn't found this website.

Please realize how much joy and ease you have brought to my life as well as the lives of so many others. I'm feeling very, very grateful for you guys! :innocent:

Just out of curiosity did you paper or e-file? From the quick turnaround I assume you were smart and mailed your documents in.

Hi All, So after calling NVC all week not being able to get through, I finally got answers to my checklist questions. But I forgot to ask one thing...

I will need to resubmit my AOS due to total income being incorrect (argh, after checking 10 times! but I mistakenly put the amount from my 2013 transcript instead of my 2013 amended 1040) Anyway, my question is, the only problem with my AOS was the total income, but NVC is asking me to resubmit the Form I-864. Do I also have to resubmit ALL the supporting documents for the AOS?

Thanks in advance!

No, if the only problem was on the form, you just need to re-submit a correct I-864 (ALL the pages, not just the one with the mistake on it). Make sure the new one is signed and dated again as well.

I did mail them in... I've been following this thread and reading about the complications people have been having with EP :( I'm sure they will get it straightend out soon for those who filed electronically!
