My case has been at the nvc since nov 2014. I sent all docs and im waiting for them to close my case. They sent me an email with a checklist, they wanted tax transcripts ok I corrected it and sent them what they wanted. Now 60 more days to review it and for them to make a decision I assume. Im eager for them to send my case to the U.S. Embassy here in managua nicaragua!!! Anyone else waiting like me? Its about to be a year in this on march 26, 2015.

form I864 part 3

"i'm sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within 6 month of the principal immigrant named in part 2 do not include any relative listed in a separate visa petition "

im kinda lost, do we include my daughter, who is immigrating with me or not?

she has her own case number at nvc, and we will sent a separate I864 and IV package for her, do we include her on this form and then later include me on her form or not?????

I did fill in my daughter's name. Coz you see in her package you only attach a copy of that whole document... at least that was our understanding..Am hoping i will go through without a checklist?

Hello, Everyone:

I am preparing to send in my AOS and IV packet. I am using form I-864EZ and plan to send in just my 2013 tax transcript. However, page 6 of the instructions for this forms says "The following items MUST (emphasis added) be submitted with Form I-864EZ: A copy of your individual Federal Income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year." A plain reading of this language indicates that I HAVE to send in a photocopy of my tax return, along with copies of the W-2s, for the most recent tax year, and not just the tax transcript. Can anyone who has filed form I-864EZ confirm this? Thanks in advance.

You only need to send the tax return transcript. You do not have to send the tax return instead. We used the tax return transcripts and it was fine.

Your daughter will need her OWN AOS package. The complete package.

So on a spousal I-864 the household count will be 2. You DO NOT list any relative that has their own petition, like a step child of a USC in part 3.

On the step-child's I-864 the household count will be 3. You DO NOT list any relative that has their own petition, like a spouse of a USC in part 3.

Remember guys, these are multiple purpose forms. They are used for every visa type that requires a sponsor and for adjustment of status cases as well. In some visa categories, like F2A (spouse of an LPR), they allow for derivatives of a visa, so there are multiple people applying for a visa off of a single petition an in consequence, a single I-864 covering everyone. In the case of a USC, a child and spouse must be petitioned separately so each has their own I-864.

I find this info kinda misleading, having read thoroughly the instructions form Part 3(Information on Immigrant you are sponsoring) Number 2..Family members...could someone else chip in with some knowleadge.. Also on the specific requirement..number 8 ....

NRL, So Tax Return Transcript without a W-2 is enough? Because I sent the most recent tax return transcript without sending copies of my W-2. Is that OK? Please help...

Yes you did it right.

1. thanks alot for the answer!!! (F)

2. this forms are soooooo confusing sometimes. we were going to submit IV + AOS for me and IV+AOS for my daughter, but i was thinking the AOS would be almost identical just switch the names of me and my daughter at the beginning of the form.

i dont really understand how the household size can be 2 and then 3 , but i guess i dont have to understand everything i just have to get it right

btw. we paid AOS fee in my name already and it should count for both, me and my dauhter right?! i called nvc last week and she said yes, but im not sure if she really understood my question. when i log into my dauhters account with her case number it still shows AOS not paid even though we paid like 2 weeks ago
