I was in the same situation. You have to wait until they send you the welcome packet. It takes 28 days for my case. Wish you receive package from them soon. Good luck with your journey.

I was going through VJ wiki on NVC, In DS 261 screen shots, I don't need this Beneficiary ID right?

We don't need Beneficiary ID any more. That was the old form. Now we just need case number and invoice number. Thats it.

05/02 We mailed one request with WAC number as by the time my husband naturalized we didn't get the NVC case number.

They are really slow with email response. As I have observed, they will not respond you until they get something new update for your case. I think just because they have nothing to tell you while they have not done anything with your case yet. Mine was 28 days which should be considered as the worst wait in my opinion. I think yours will be faster as they are speeding up and getting back on track now. Hope you will hear from them in next few days.

I got an email from USCIS that they already forwarded our case to NVC. How would we know the NVC received our case? Are they going to email us that they already received it or shall we call them?

They will send out the welcome letter. People used to call in to get case# and filled out the choice of agent and pay AOS fee ahead of time before the welcome packet send out. But it seems like they dont open ds-261 and AOS invoice until they send out the welcome packet now. You can try to call in and get case number early when they assign it but I am not sure if you will able to do anything with it.

I tried to access ceac site, but still it says not eligible for further processing.

Daily I keep checking this site for the good news. or is it some other place I need to check to do the forms and payments. I have all my documents ready with me. Please help me

In your case it might be that priority date for F2A class is not current yet and so they are not processing your case further until upgrade. If you have sent them a letter a month ago you should get a reply within 10-15 days tops I guess.

My priority date was from 2005, so processing was uninterrupted as date was current (visa numbers available).

Hello, Everyone:

I am preparing to send in my AOS and IV packet. I am using form I-864EZ and plan to send in just my 2013 tax transcript. However, page 6 of the instructions for this forms says "The following items MUST (emphasis added) be submitted with Form I-864EZ: A copy of your individual Federal Income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year." A plain reading of this language indicates that I HAVE to send in a photocopy of my tax return, along with copies of the W-2s, for the most recent tax year, and not just the tax transcript. Can anyone who has filed form I-864EZ confirm this? Thanks in advance.

We used I-864EZ too, submitted tax transcripts AND tax return + W2. Just as you say, a plain reading indicates that you HAVE to include it. To be on a safe side we included everything. Our package isn't viewed yet, by the way,

I have another question. When you e-file and print out a copy of your tax return, the return does not have a signature at the bottom. Is it ok to send in the copy of my tax return without a signature?

We are not the experts, but I can tell you what we did: signed only on tax transcript, left a tax return the way it is.

As I noted before, our NVC package is not viewed yet, but I hope we will be ok.
