Yay, IV fee FINALLY shows PAID (they took the money out on 03/11). Already sent the docs, with scan date of 3/11, so now we just need to fill out DS-260 and wait.

Does anyone know, does it hurt you to ask for an expedite? The reason would be financial/job loss to me (USC), but I've heard a lot of people say it's unlikely to be granted (while others say, it depends on the embassy). Does it ever end up taking *longer* when you ask for an expedite, or is it always shorter (if it's granted), or doesn't have any effect (if it isn't)?

I am in the process of assembling my AOS and supporting documents. I want to use 2013 tax return as my most recent. Now, when filling up the income using I-864EZ, do I have to write down my 2nd and 3rd most recent too? Can I leave them blank? I started working 2012, so my 2011, I was still a student. What should I write on 3rd most recent if I was still a student then(2011)?

mine is same thing what happen to you now is still in process. when I tried calling them they have that speaker call back later now they don't put on hold?

You've just got to keep trying to get through. I called and they said they got the payment, their computer system just has a glitch. I already emailed the AOS and IV application a week ago, even though I haven't submitted the DS-260 yet. They told me that's fine and just to do the DS-260 when it becomes available. The IV fee is was now marked as "Paid" today so now I need to do the DS-260.

Just came across that question too. I'm going to answer "No" because the key word there is immigrating. A US citizen doesn't need to immigrate to the US. It's a bit confusing.

US citizen spouses and children don't immigrate, they simply travel. The answer to both questions is 'no.'

Hi guys

The NVC received my package in January 14. The 60 days already passed and they just can't give me an date when they will complete my case.

How much time it's taking generally?

Thanks and good luck for all of us!

Checklist was 2/22. I did not want to take the chance on resubmitting the docs as per the checklist to start the 60 day clock all over so I called NVC, told the rep that these docs were submitted long ago. After getting nowhere, I asked for a supervisor review, and it seems as if that worked.

Hold on to faith, hopefully you and every one else will get speedy cc's and will be out of the torture chamber soon.

My scan date is 01/22, I have called yesterday and asked if it's still 60 days they need to review papers - the answer was - "yest it's 60 days but if you don't hear from us within 60 days please give us another week and a half before inquiring", so it's more like 70 days.

BTW I was able to successfully update my name which changed since I-130 was approved and also changed my embassy because I live in a different country and wanted Embassy updated. All done via email - took 50 days for them to complete my request. Got new case number. Now I am waiting to get hopefully CC within the next week.

Whether you had an income or not, whether you're including tax information or not, ALL THREE YEARS need to be filled out on the form. If you didn't work in 2011, then just write in $0. Also include a letter explaining that you did not work in 2011.

And please be aware: since your interview date will be after April 15, the tax deadline, then you'll need to bring an updated form and tax information to the interview for tax year 2014. If, for whatever reason, you get a checklist for the AOS, you'll need to send an updated form and tax information then, instead of at the interview.

Does anyone have problems with ceac.state.gov login? It tells me "application encountered an error, please try again later".

I want to know if it's a widespread problem or if they are updating my case now or something else.
