Soooo happy for you.. can you please tell me where to log in to see those magical 3 n/a's????

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

You're going to need your case number and invoice id. Keep in mind there have been cases where the Aos doesn't change from paid to n/a and the case has been completed.

hey

the same thing happened to me last year in october. i paid the aos fee under my son's case because his case started processing before mine. you need to call nvc and tell them to bring it to the attention of a supervisor immediately. you only need to pay the aos fee ONCE.

unfortunantely a supervisor would need about 30 days to fix your problem. they took about 1 month to fix that problem on my case.

it should show that you paid the aos fee on your case as well.

good luck

Got my scan date email from the NVC today, scan date was 03/11.

AOS has been paid, IV was paid 3/11, but payment shows "in process" so DS 260 not filled out yet.

I guess after DS 260 is filled out, we just play the waiting game?

Does anyone know, if by calling you can actually get the thing looked at in less than 60 days? :clock:

Hoping, hoping, hoping we don't get a checklist.

Okay...... it's done...... our paperwork has been send and the second guessing and scrutinizing every little detail begins! LOL!

I'm praying to every deity for no checklist! We really want to get this done & visas in hand prior to September so that we can register them for school!!

question on behalf of someone else. I already got my IV fee invoiced and good to go. but my question is what if they review your documents before the IV fee is invoiced? what happens? or that never happens? they have a system where its released before the scan dates come up? just general questions , all I have is time to wonder and question things! lol

I've seen it happen once and the person got a checklist. Everything had been reviewed but the DS-260 was not filled out. I am not sure if it took an additional 60 days or if it was reviewed as soon as the applicant completed it.

scary  , I told him to keep calling until they review it . seems like their picking up with the CCs would be terrible to have to wait longer

were having some serious problems here and really need some computer expertise here.

hubby and i sent in our documents via email feb 15. today we got the dreaded .... :ranting::ranting::ranting:

"You recently sent us an email with attached files. One or more of those files was encrypted or password protected. Please resend your documents and make sure that none of them has encryption or password protection so that we can complete our review."

he sent 4 emails that day and I sent one, each from our own email addressed. how are we to figure out which is encrypted or password protected?

not knowing which they were referring to, we began to review all the emails we sent.

when i look at what he sent (he bc'd me) there are some pdf attachments that show the exact file (eg letter from employer) yet others appear blank. when i download each file individually I get the same results. some show the exact file, others are just blanks. YET, when I chose download all, and proceed to open that compressed file, each attachment is there and appears in true form, just like it did when we scanned and made it a pdf.

my husband and I are both using adobe XI. we have been tackling this all day. the only way we can see and download each attachment (via sending each other copies of the pdf files and opening them up each on our own computers) in true form is using adobe IV.

we know its not about password protected because we check that out and it appears fine.

what are we doing wrong? this can't be what others are experiencing, can it? someone with tech skills we welcome your help!!!
