Hello everyone, I have a quick question...when will I know when the DS-260 and IV fee will be available for me to submit and pay? Also do I have to send in the Aos and the IV doc together?

Oluwaese...Congrats on getting your case number. They will notify you by email when the invoice is posted but you can check ceac website whenever you want to see when it is available...You can definitely send the documents together and I see where most people are recommending that since they are taking 60 days to review documents. Just put them in a separate folder or if you use a pocket folder put the AOS on one side and IV on the other side.

30 Dec and still waiting. What time of the day does Paid change to N/A usually? Or is it random?

I think it's pretty random. My step-daughter's changed at around 8 am (NVC time) and my husband's changed around 5 pm (NVC time) on the same day. Also, I called in between those times and found out they were both "CC" so they don't always automatically change to N/A.

12/27/12 - Married in Bamako, Mali

11/12/13 - I-130 package sent

11/15/13 - NOA1

05/27/14 - NOA2

06/16/14 - Case received NVC

07/01/14 - Case number assigned

07/21/14 - DS-261 completed

07/25/14 - AOS bill paid

07/30/2014 - AOS package sent

08/18/2014 - add-on AOS package sent (learned that I should have sent 2 separate I-864s even though the cases are joined...oops!)

09/19/2014 - IV bill paid

09/26/2014 - AOS checklist received

11/09/2014 - DS 260 completed online

12/22/2014 - AOS checklist package and IV documents scan date

03/02/2015 - Case Complete!!! (70 days)

04/02/2015 - Interview in Dakar (221g - Needed to verify a court document)

04/21/2015- Visas in hand!!

Got 3 N/A's finally! It "only" took them 66 days. I believe it happened at around 8am NVC time, just like you said cloclo2.

Congratulation!

Hello Everyone,

I'm so glad to be at the NVC stage and am praying for speedy outcomes for everyone. I am petitioning for my husband and our I-130 was approved on 2/3/15 from Nebraska Service Center. NVC assigned the case number on 2/27 (I just got it today). I paid the AOS fee and filled out the DS- 261 this morning. I have a question about sending in the AOS and IV packets. We have everything ready to go except for my husband's military records - he has to get something cleared up before he can get the records. We anticipate that he should be able to get them in about two weeks and then he has to mail them to me, which will take at least a week. I would like to send the packets in right away to start the 60-day clock. I'm wondering if I should send the packets in without the records and then mail the records separately one I receive them. I'm worried that the 60-day clock would start again from the receipt of the records. The other thing I was thinking was to send the packets in without the records and just bring the records to the interview, but I worry about getting a checklist for the missing records and having the 60-day clock reset. Or should I just wait until I receive the records and send the competed package in? What do you all think?

Can I ask everyone again, where are you looking for the 3 N/A's??? Our scan date is 12/23. My husband called on Tuesday and the rep said you don't need to send any more papers. My husband asked if that mean the case is complete then and all the rep said is just wait for the interview letter. So I am lost. Why wouldn't he just say yes? Also when I do check case status it still says at NVC. When I log in to CEAC to pretend like I am going to pay invoices the both still show paid..... I am not sure if I am looking in the right place or what but it seems like everyone else's is being updated, not sure why ours isn't. Any help would be awesome.

and tell me how many N/As you see

if they said wait for the interview letter I would think that's a case complete but who knows!. I would call back and specifically ask if your case is complete.

I did not mean to post my question twice. If a moderator could delete the second post or if someone could tell me how to delete it, that would be great.

if something goes in the packet that supposed to be in there and its missing then your gonna get a checklist and start the 60 days over again... I would wait til you get everything then send it so no worries of a checklist. even if you send everything now and then send it once it comes it will start your 60 days over anyways and there is no guarantee it will marry up with your file.. I think its safe to wait.. just my thought
