questions afther questions.....

Well, the title kind of explains it.

My USC wife doesn't have a job yet, because she just graduated from college.

Her sister is going to be our joint sponsor. Some questions came up as we were filling out I864.

My understanding is that, both my wife (even though her income is $0) and her sister are going to fill out I864 separately. Is that correct?

Is my wife going to put "unemployed" and "$0" for her annual income? (That looks pretty bad... I guess that is the reality...)

As long as we prove that our joint sponsor has enough money, USCIS doesn't consider my wife's income, right? Well, I hope so.

Get a CO-Sponsor, unless she can show liquid assets 3 times 125% of the poverty line.

Yes she still is considered the primary sponsor, and needs to file an I-864 form, also need to provide a tax return, or letter explaining why no return was filed.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Thanks.

Co-sponsor...? meaning Joint Sponsor?? Are they the same thing?

If we have a joint-sponsor who makes enough money, we don't have to worry about the assets, either, right? But, her I864 form looks like so unnecessary... She's unemployed. Her income is zero. No assets...

Anyway, I'm guessing USCIS doesn't care where the money is coming from as long as we have enough...?
