Desi123 and everybody else on here....your time will come...it will come when you don't expect it. me and my fiancée were emailing and txting each other last night saying how low we were feeling, utterly exasperated with the waiting, and then this morning waking up to check my phone...it was sitting there on my case checking APP in bright green CASE WAS APPROVED.

They don't go in recept number order. I've been checking every day on the Immifairy site that has a real time tracking report on cases at Texas, and there was activity all around my case, but nothing on mine. Then suddenly it happens. Good luck to everyone still waiting, IT WILL COME

OMG i just checked today and my case was approved!!!! Aug 20. I should've checked earlier and saved three days of grief. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting for their approvals! It should come any day now

Anyone else have problems logging in to their USCIS account? Last night and all of today I am getting an error message "An error has occurred. Contact technical support".

The mobile app works but not their website.

how ironic, i sent someone from the same country as mine which is Egypt to ask him about something, now he is waiting for packet 3, and while i was sending him PM to ask him , i noticed we have had talked before about the process, the ironic thing is, last conversation was in march he was asking me about the process he needs to know more, he said i just need to know more i will file in may, and i was talking with him i will be waiting 6 month for noa2 because i am in texas, so you too get ready because you are from Florida, he filed after me and now he is waiting for packet 3, WOW isn't it unfair ? :')
i truly wish everyone good-luck in this journey , but this is sooo unfair and hurtful

The strange thing is that I checked 2 days ago and yesterday and the case status was "Received". But my NOA2 date is showing as 8/21/2015.

Yes, absolutely right. Was not expecting it at all. Just a typical evening where I check the case number on the USCIS site, almost like a routine. Lo and behold, approved. I had to check like 5 times to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

Congrats , praying for ours.

My thoughts are with you. Like redstripe said, it'll come at the most unexpected time. Since you have the congressman involved, it'll be any day now.

Everyone here deserves to get out of this hole. We've all earned it.

On a side note, people wonder whether contacting their congressman/senator's office really has any effect.

In my case as well, after contacting the senator's office and them reaching out to get a status, I was approved not even a week after this whole thing.

Somehow, I like to believe that the congressman's office gave a "kick" to get it in motion.

It was done today for maintenance according to the USCIS website under drop box titled "NEWS". It is back up now. I was and am hoping that they are uploading a ton of approvals to get us all the hell out of the Black Hole.

there was an alert from 19 Aug that the system tools will be on maintenance from Sunday 23 5 a.m. *eastern till monday 24 morning .. so it is ok guys .. the last time after that maintenance we were able to see our case online. Cause we used to see a system error message .. calm down

Not so sure about that. My senators office got reply from TSC on Aug 14 that some officer was reviewing our case. Nothing so far.. 186 days and counting. Uscis website is up now. Same old status(sos)
