I wondered the same thing about refiling when I heard of the case load being sent to CSC but at this point it would be stupid because we are at the end of the waiting for the NOA2. Feb filers stuck here should be getting theirs this month. Finally 6 months waiting. I just hope we all get approved with no RFE's!!! As if we need anymore stress.

Catherine- you and I should hang out and have a B**tch fess together - we are located in the same area. I work in Tyson.. You have a Costa Rican I have a Cuban. lol

It will all be over very soon.. So lets talk about wedding dates or what to do once we get the NOA because that is where I start to stress out. I think I left the stressing part for this next step since it seems complicating to me and I know I am going to have a panic attack or something.

For sure! I work in DC and live in Old Town. My schedule absolutely sucks for trying to have a social life-- Normal 8 to 5 type job and a "nights and weekends" retail gig that I use to fund my continued trips to Costa Rica (and now, visa fees). But it's not every night, and it's sometimes not both days of the weekends, so we can figure something out. Or I may just quit it soon. I really, really want my life back. I want to go to the gym. Have time to cook for myself. Spend time in my apartment when I'm awake. That sort of thing.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

My NOA1 date is February 5th. It's so sad that I haven't been approved yet  I know my approval will be coming soon but it really has been a stressful 6 months. My fiancé, family, and friends have been keeping me strong through this long wait. I have been keeping myself busy planning what I can for the wedding, already have my wedding shoes, dress etc..

Hope TSC hurries up, I just want to be able to start my life soon and marry the love of my life.

Mine is Feb 4th and nothing yet from TSC. I don't even know what to make of this. I'm just on my knees, praying to God to work wonders on my case.

Ugh... still no NOA2 :( And today ImmiFairy is showing more January approvals than February approvals. Need to get some positive vibes quick

I can't feel bad for January filers getting approved, must be frustrating for them seeing February types getting approved.

Chin up, it will come through soon.

I guess that is true. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Can you view these reports on immifairy without paying?

No, it's a subscription service. But it's only 10 bucks a month... I spend more at Starbucks in a week lol. I think it's def worth it imho... At the end of the day, the small investment is worth at least checking it out.

Is there a more concise list of approved cases compared to Igors K1 list? What can I see on there that I cant see on the lists here?

Yes... looks like Igor's list tracks around 600-700 cases from the backlog.

ImmiFairy, on the other hand, is tracking more than 10,000 cases and shows typically 10x (or even more) approvals per day than Igor's list. It also helps you see where your petition sits on the bell curve of those waiting to be adjudicated.

As I said, I find it helpful and the community on ImmiFairy is mostly K1s from TSC, so we have a lot of good discussions that can't be infiltrated by CSC noobs that are unknowingly insulting to our struggle haha...

We haven't even got our NOA1 yet and I'm already having second thoughts as to whether K1 was the right choice. Going by the timelines, wouldn't it have been better to get married and file for the spousal visa? We did K1 cause we thought it would get us together faster, but I'm beginning to doubt that, judging by the ridiculous wait times at TSC. At least if we had done the spousal visa, I'd have been able to work immediately and leave the country without waiting for the authorization to be issued.

 Since we already sent them our packet (and our money), it's probably useless to wonder about these things now...

Well, when we filed things were going better than now, it's always a gamble I suppose.

Edit: I'm not technically a Feb filer (Jan 30).

I'm January 30th. I can tell you that I have entered 1000 receipt numbers before mine and all the k1s in that thousand went through to dept of state except for a few rfes. They seems stuck right at me, lol...but maybe that is good news for February since I am the 30th!

Dude you manually enter 1000 receipt numbers? Damn! And I'm sorry about about that, you're seriously the only one that's in the received state? That's sucks... are you on ImmiFairy? If so I can share with you there how I've been messing around with the few received dates before and after mine to see what the patterns are. Just can't discuss here ;)
