I tried to submit an inquiry on the USCIS page as it has been over 6 months since I received our NOA1. Those sneaky little guys at TSC.... refuse to accept my inquiry because my case falls within their processing time of November 10th. I AM GOING TO SCREAM!!! :( My NOA1 date is 02/03/2015 and while I am so HAPPY and THRILLED for everyone getting their NOA2 from TSC so far, I am just frustrated to the point of bursting into tears.

Hold in there.. im sure it will come in the next week or so. Im a week after you and I keep checking the website for updates... I know it will come, im just impatient haha

Really pleased to see those with mid-February NOA1 dates receiving their NOA2s but so frustrating given that our NOA1 date was Feb 3rd and still nothing.

My NOA1 date is Feb 3rd too and have heard nothing! It's so frustrating especially wondering why other people receive theirs before ours, and there's nothing we can do about it! Ours is for UK to Texas!

Completely agree with you! I was looking forward to submitting the inquiry if we hadn't heard by the six month mark hoping or any sense of when we would be approved! I was so frustrated after they wouldn't except it too. I'm happy for those who are getting theirs but I just want to know what is going on haha

I'm feeling really really low about all this today, I can barely keep it together. I usually ignore what's happening at CSC because I just can't deal with but, but I saw and I'm just a total mess :(

If we'd gone through that fast, we'd be together by now. We wouldn't have "had" to have an engagement party in Costa Rica because he would have been May! Our party THERE was in June Unbelievable. And now folks who applied after we had this party--the party I haven't even had time to organize the photos from yet, they're getting approved. What in the actual hell? I can't even think about the expense that has gone into this delay, and the stress, and what sometimes feels like the strength it has added to our relationship, but today I feel like it's hurt. Because I can't think of him without also thinking about this stress and anger and disappointment. Seriously. We never talk anymore, we're just both in this constant grind of work-sleep-work-sleep that there's nothing to talk ABOUT--except this awful process. I'm at my wit's end here.

We "had to" because my cousin, who is my best friend and basically another sister to me, but closer in age and now location (we've lived 5 miles apart for 10 years) than my actual sisters, who would be my maid of honor, is moving to Morocco next week. She's a teacher and she won't be able to attend our wedding unless we manage to squeeze it in right around Christmas, which for one---he may not even be here by then and two-- there is almost no availability anywhere for events around the holidays. So when it became clear that she'd never even get a chance to meet him, maybe not until the summer of 2016 at the earliest, we decided for her to come to CR, and then made a "thing" out of it.

And still....those guys complain about the wait times. Oo

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I've been following the discussion and finally signed up so I can comment.
I sent in my I129 F to the Texas Service center in Feb - seems like we're all in the same boat here. Although, I tried having my application expedited but it did not get approved. It is SO frustrating! I keep worrying that mine will not get accepted - due to something I wrote or said which didn't meet their standards. For example, I said that my fiance was kicked out of his house due to a disagreement over our marriage, which is why he changed his location from Kuwait to Jordan. Was that stupid of me??

I definitely hear ya.

The first couple of months it didn't bother me. But the longer this keeps going on, the more it's getting unbearable. I feel nothing but anger and annoyance.

The psychological/mental toll this unfair process puts on TSC filers really negatively affects the relationship.

Come on man, CSC filers from July are already getting approved. COME ON NOW!

People are concerned about and discussing interview dates. Meanwhile us folks are begging just for our NOA1's. How sad is that.

Hey Guys I had a crazy Idea and I know its crazy, has anyone thought about just refiling their petition and letting it go to CSC? if you refile now the file will go to CSC, once you get the receipt that it went there you can recall your TSC petition? I know this is crazy I was just wondering if this is possible at all.

Yeah. I considered it on March 28 (the day after all the CSC routing started). I think a lot of people talked about trying, but I don't know if anyone did. The question about "have you ever filed a K1 before" tripped a lot of folks up (how would you answer it--which one is right) and honestly who knows what sort of red flag that would cause in the system. Just our luck, the ONE thing that USCIS would be on top of is multiple filings from the same US Citizen, right? So what sort of delay or even rejection based on suspicion of fraud could that cause and is it worth it? Plus, I have given those crooks enough of my money already, and will have to shell out even more as time goes on. I don't feel like throwing them another $340 on principle alone (though obviously, it would be worth much more to me for a faster approval....I just hate the idea of paying them twice to ONE job).

Do not do that, you will get it in this month, around 8/20 (if you do not have any issue in your case). If you do that, it will take more than a month.

I wondered the same thing about refiling when I heard of the case load being sent to CSC but at this point it would be stupid because we are at the end of the waiting for the NOA2. Feb filers stuck here should be getting theirs this month. Finally 6 months waiting. I just hope we all get approved with no RFE's!!! As if we need anymore stress.

Catherine- you and I should hang out and have a B**tch fess together - we are located in the same area. I work in Tyson.. You have a Costa Rican I have a Cuban. lol

It will all be over very soon.. So lets talk about wedding dates or what to do once we get the NOA because that is where I start to stress out. I think I left the stressing part for this next step since it seems complicating to me and I know I am going to have a panic attack or something.

2nd go round

1st K-1 Denied

Subitted Feb 2-6-15

NOA1 - 2-18-15

NOA2 - 8-18-15

Interview 11-25-15 - Denied

And Here we go again -

New K1 submitted - 1-9-16

NOA1 - 1-12-16 (according to USCIS)

Text received 1-15-16

hardcopy - not received yet as of 1-26-16
