Don't want to burst anyone's bubble but there haven't been any February approvals since last Wednesday. There were only 2 February's that day.

The good news is, TSC seems to be picking up the pace. They approved 92 yesterday, 72 on Friday, 63 on Thursday. Most of those approvals are January NOA1

Yeah, no Feb approvals for awhile according to ImmiFairy... and the pace isn't picking up really... there are just some days out of the week that appear to be more productive (in regards to approvals) than others. I hope I'm wrong, but this has been the trend for awhile. I think us Feb folks are in for another couple months probably. In the meantime, subscribe to the ImmiFairy reports in order to stay on top of the latest tracking data. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones approved ahead of 7-8 schedule. The service keeps me sane throughout this abyss of uncertainty... I'm sad today :(

16 Feb approvals according to Immifairy.. Btw.

Our 5 months wait is up and I just talked to my senators office and they promised to send an inquiry. It's very frustrating but the end is near.. Gotta stay positive . Hang in there , it'll all be worth it in the end.

i wonder some people say it will not affect anything to talk to senator, i will complete the 5 month 26 this month, let me know please or at least post here if talking to senator affecting the case, my attorney told us we will start move 1 of september if we did not here anything which is after 185 days almost 6 month, this process so tiring , and i pray to hear something very soon , in Egypt looks like the process after noa2 takes so long as well

talking to your senator is just another shot in the dark.. chances are TSC will tell their rep. the same thing and dodge questions. But, it's worth a try. I'll post the reply once i hear from their office.

Kind of curious about this process. Couple of quick questions I had.

1) Do we contact our senator or congressman? Who would be better at helping us out?

2) Can we just call their office to inquire or is the form the required method?

3) Wondering what the nature of the message should be. Just a simple paragraph asking for assistance on submitting an inquiry on our behalf?

Thanks in advance!

You can contact both. Call their office directly and they should be able to help you. I had to fill a privacy form , sign, scan and send it. Ymmv.

Provide your Src number and other pertinent case related info and follow up with their office.

Hope this helps and good luck

Try all three and see who is the most responsive. They will all three (your 2 Senators and one congressman ) have different priorities and politics and honestly, different staff members and some may be better at their jobs tHan others.

Be prepared that all of them might get the same line from USCIS that we do and they may not have the drive, ability or permission to push for more. And be prepared that other people's representatives will be more willing and able to help them.

Call first and ask what the procedure is. All of them will require a written privacy release but may have different preferences on how to get it in.

Make sure to call the local and not DC office. The local office (in your state/maybe your city) has people whose job is 100% about helping constituents with Federal problems. The DC office, particularly in the summer months, has the phones answered by 19 year old interns who may not know the ropes.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

Thanks you guys. I feel like us Feb. folks are right around the corner. But, don't want to get my hopes up.

If the whole process was 'first in, first out' as it's supposed to be, we could get our hopes up.

But seeing as how Oct/Nov filers are still waiting, and TSC is hopping all around the place, don't want to set my hopes up for failure.
