stupid question about copies...

This is probably a stupid question, but I got to ask anyway:

For the evidence for the I751 I want to make a copy of a car title and loan agreement. Both these documents are however oversized and way longer than a regular letter-sized paper. Do you think it is enough to include just a copy of whatever the copier can accomodate on one regular piece of paper and forget about the rest or should I make 2 copies (one top, one bottom of paper) so they have a complete copy of page 1.

BTW, the important information, i.e. both of our names are on the top of each of the documents and the bottoms usually don't contain any relevant information.

Also there is information like rules and regulations printed on the back or pages attached to the document, do you think I should copy that, too?

edited to add: and I only have small home office copier, so no chance to reduce the large doc, as the scan field is only as big as a regular paper.

My local staples was able to reduce my Birth Certificate which was oversized to fit on regular A4 paper. Just take it there and ask them to do it.

re the backs of your documents, It doesnt hurt to have it, Ive also been on photocopiers that could be set to do front and back on the same piece of paper!

Copiers can reduce as well as enlarge. Why not set it to reduce the document to fit the paper?

I've already explained that the scan field is not large enough - it's not a fancy huge office copier. It's a small printer/copier home office machine......

I'd take it to staples or the local library and use their fancier copier to reduce it down, rather than only scan a part of it.

My Canadian legal sized bc would not be copied properly on my HP copier at home. So i went to the local library and for 15 cents and 5 minutes of my time copied it properly. It was on legal sized paper, so i just folded up the bottom few inches so it didn't stick out of my package.

I suppose you could copy the top part of the page and then the bottom, but it doesn't really look good (I tried that and the b/c seal ended up on the second page). If the backs of the documents don't contain supporting evidence of your relationship, then I would not bother copying them (just my opinion though).

Our car title was a scroll. I just copied the top and bottom parts. I figured they could work out what it was.

I had the same issue with our car loan, and my home printer. I made it into two pages, and did not copy the back. I just stapled the two pages together, it is obvious that they go together. I honestly don't think this is that big of a deal. I did the same thing for Tom's AOS packet.

just a little feedback: I went to the local library and got me the copies there - first page only though.
