Passport question

So I plan on sending in the K1 visa application for my fiancee around late April/ early May. Her passport expires Dec 2015. I assume we should get her passport renewed since going to other countries such as the US require the passport to be valid for at least 6 months, which would not be the case since her visa would not be approved until October or November?

If we should get her passport renewed, how long does that process take?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months after the date the visa is issued. Unfortunately no one can tell you with any accuracy when your fiance will receive her visa. Good luck on your journey!!

No assuming, have her renew her passport. Can take a couple months to get done.

If she is renewing from manila, she can request for rush service. It will take approx 15bus days.

For regular may take 25-30 days

If it will be dfa regional offices it may be longer
