Sorry for the delay, but here it is. (I have been out-of-town on a work trip.) I had my interview last Friday, June 12, at the Los Angeles Field Office. I'm pretty familiar with the surrounding are

Its 12/26/2015 and still no updates yet! I contacted my senator and he inquired with the USCIS and they informed him that I haven't had an interview yet because my name is still pending with the FBI! It's been 10 months since I filed my application and still NO interview.

N400PDX - that totally sux man no 1 knows how long that takes - i havent had an update either been 10 months seems like i m stuck there 2 - unbelieveble

I contacted the Ombusdman office and inquired with them and waiting for thier responce! Hopefully will get some updates since its the new year now and all hollydays are over

N400PDX - i know this for sure if it is with FBI for security clearance it can take 6 months - I am not sure how long it has been since it went to their office.

Its good that you have contacts who can get updates for you.

Successfully completed my interview on January 6th. It was the easiest and quickest interview since my green card interview. I was in and out in 20 minutes. First, the officer swore me in, then went over my application, then he administered in the following order: reading writing and history/civics tests. Questions asked: 1.what did the declaration of independence do? 2.How many justices in the supreme Court? 3.How long does a US Senetor serve? 4.Who is next in line if both the President and Vice President cannot serve? 5.Name one branch of the government. 6.What does the President's cabinet do?

After that, the officer approved my application and immediately scheduled my oath ceremony date and handed me the oath letter. My oath is scheduled for January 29 at the Supreme Court of New York in Albany, NY. So, excited that my journey is now over. Looking forward to life as a US Citizen now.Will immediately apply for my US passport after completion of the oath. Good luck to all still in the process.

Guys, just be patient. I know that feeling of uncertainty. My interview date came in the other day. I have been watching this thread since March 2015. Not disclosing any dates due to confidentiality reasons. Just to let you know that I waited a total of 10 months for interview letter/date after finger prints. Please don’t add me to any timeline.
