I don't remember the officers name though :/ I know where his office is and what it looks like though lol It should be in their system who held the interview right? Cause then I just go to him right there. Ugh. This is just....so nerve wrecking!

I checked the infopass page and I'm not sure what to choose.

Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

I bet it is a small office, they would know him once you describe how he looks like. I don't think they type of appointment matters but choose case processing appointment.

Your other option at this point is to do congressional inquiry. They have to respond to congressional inquiries within 48 hours. Maybe you could do both, make infopass appointment (i am guessing the earliest availability will be within a week or two) and also ask for assistance from congressperson either TN senator or your district's house representative.

Yea it was a small place, so techncially I could tell them where to find him and what his office looks like (the decoration and everything). I'm working on a letter to my senator right now. I wouldn't have thought that actually helps but at this point, I need this to be done with. Also getting an infopass. Thanks for the help!!

After 13 months of big nothing (filed ROC 3/6/15), 3 calls to the service center with answers like "still pending",an info pass for only 6 months (they usually do it for a year), received an interview letter for 4/6. Interview went well I suppose and we were told that will get an answer within 30 days, or 90 days at most, and if we dont get an answer by late August we should go for another info pass. My point here is: there is NOTHING you can do but wait. I told the officer that I called 3 times and his reply was: "Dont waste your time, you are just calling the service center who have NO information for your case whatsoever, and even if you do another info pass, you will just get a stamp, no other updates/info will be given to you". Disappointing right? its been only a week, I am hoping to get my GC soon, will update you all...keep waiting!!!

Oh wow! I'm just so tired of waiting. They don't realize that this is not just a case it's a PERSON with a life on hold cause they can't get into gear.... -.-

Well, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has/had to wait so long. Please keep me updated when you get your GC, I have hopes that it still just shows up even though my case was transferred to VSC. I'm still gonna contact my senator and see if something happens then. I need an infopass appointment in May anyways to get a stamp. Do I have to bring anything other than my passport?

If it is gonna make you feel better, just couple days ago someone from Nov 2014 posted his approval. I still think it is just a mistake that they sent your case to VSC but after waiting over a year, you have every right to complain about how they treated your case.

I think you will need to take your expired GC and NOA letter too but hopefully that appointment won't be necessary.

November 2014??? I think I would've lost my mind by then. This is ridiculous! Oh yea, it's definitely a mistake. There's not reason for an approved case to be transferred back and forth. Just email me the damn GC and I'll print it out myself and laminate it haha

With NOA letter do you mean the extension letter?

Yes the extension letter. but bring every other communication you received too, interview letter, vsc transfer letter, ... God knows someone may ask for these for no reason.

NOA is the extension yes, for the infopass you need your passport, expired GC and NOA letter.Just and FYI, since I am eligible to apply for naturalization now I also asked the officer if I should send my N-400 now, his reply was "No, applying for naturalization will only complicate things in our system, you have to wait for your decision on ROC before applying". I think you could contact your senator, however, I have to mention this again, my IO told me that they have up to 90 days (by law) to updated a case, so not sure if contacting a senator at this point will get you anywhere, but you should try, I would absolutely do the same, especially after such a long wait. Good luck to you all and yes I will let you know whenever I receive anything.

I don't have the interview letter anymore cause they kept it when I went to the interview. I just bring my USCIS folder...it's a BIG ### folder now lol

I'm divorced so I won't be able to filed the N-400 until 2018. I will call and send a letter to my senator and get an infopass for a stamp. 13 months is way too long. And I'm not gonna wait another 6 months after the officer told me that I got approved lol I'm getting too impatient.

Hey! Yes I have an update!! :)

Sooo.... I was getting ready to send my letter to the senator (I wrote one and then had a friend look over it) when I decided a week ago to just call USCIS again. Just for shits and giggles. In case you don't remember last time I called I had one lady tell me that my case was "sensitive" and she couldn't see anything and asked if I had a lawyer and then told me to write a letter to Vermont...??? And the second one told me that transferring my case was normal and just...to....wait...

This time I called and I actually had someone competent on the phone (WHAT A SURPRISE!). She told me that she can see everything in my file. When I filed, when I had biometrics done and etc. She also saw that the officer I had my interview with on March 10th DID APPROVE ME! They have it in my file. I'm approved! That was already a big relieve. At least they all knew I was approved. Well she couldn't tell me why my case was transferred and why I never received a letter of approval and that my card was being produced. So she said she would send a request to CSC and ask what's going on. She actually read to me what she wrote to them. That I got approved, never received a notice but a letter saying my case was transferred without reason. She told me that I should wait till May 10th and then call back/make an infopass appointment, if I wouldn't hear back from anyone.

BUUUUUUUUUT today I got an email that my card is being produced!!!!!! It also said that I could expect my card withing 30 days of approval...which...well I'm gonna say 30 days from today. I AM SO HAPPY! It's gonna be pretty close to the date when my extension expires so I might still have to make the 4 hour drive to get a stamp but...man. I'm so happy.

15 MONTHS! IT TOOK THEM 15 MONTHS!!

I will update when I actually have my GreenCard in my hands lol

Edit: AND I CAN FINALLY THROW AWAY ALL THE PICTURES OF ME AND MY EX!! :D :D :D

Yes!!! It simply sucks the previous two officers were not as helpful as this one. I am glad you finally found someone who actually did something. Give them couple more days and the card will be in the mail soon. Congratulations again!!

Hi guys,

I also filed in March and still waiting. Last update that I received said that my case was placed on hold due to Security background checks pending...that was a month ago. I also had 2 InfoPass apointments where they stamped my passport with the 6 month extension stamp.

Tried to call too, spoke with the Tier 2 officer and the same answer again...just wait...

So tired of that waiting!

You may receive the same response but you could try the following:

1. You could try contacting your Congressman. Enter your zipcode at this link: http://www.house.gov/htbin/findrep

2. You could try contacting CIS Ombudsman: cisombudsman@hq.dhs.gov

https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

3. You could also try any of the following per this link: https://www.uscis.gov/archive/archive-news/uscis-update-case-status-inquiries-service-centers

USCIS Update: Case Status Inquiries with the Service Centers

WASHINGTON - U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued instructions on making inquiries with the agency's four Service Centers. Customers, community-based organizations and liaison groups should follow this guidance when inquiring about case related issues. This new process standardizes customer service and streamlines processing of customer inquiries at USCIS Service Centers. The step-by-step instructions are as follows:

Step 1: Contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC can assist customers, community-based organizations and liaison groups with case related inquiries. Before calling the NCSC please have available your receipt number, alien registration number, type of application filed and date filed. During your call we recommend that you take note of the following information:

-The name and/or id number of the NCSC representative

-The date and time of the call

-Any service request referral number, if a service referral on a pending case is taken

Step 2: If more than 15 days have passed since you contacted the NCSC and the issue has not been resolved or explained you can email the proper USCIS Service Center to check the status of your case.

-California Service Center: csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

-Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

-Nebraska Service Center: ncscfollowup.nsc@dhs.gov

-Texas Service Center: tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

Please note: Emails should be sent to the Service Center that has jurisdiction over your case. The receipt notice will indicate EAC for the Vermont Service Center, SRC for the Texas Service Center, LIN for the Nebraska Service Center, and WAC for the California Service Center.

When contacting the Service Centers by email you will need to provide the information outlined in Step 1. If the NCSC did not issue a service request after your call, please indicate the reason the NCSC representative did not issue the request.

Step 3: In the event you do not receive a response within 21 days of contacting the appropriate Service Center, you may email the USCIS Headquarters Office of Service Center Operations by email at: SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov. You will receive a response from this email address within ten days.
