The Tier 2 officer can see more but not all of it. To actually find out what is going on with your case they gotta send a request to the person handling your case. After calling 3 times, someone finally did and after calling another time cause I didn't hear anything from that person, they finally send me an update. "Case still pending" -.- BUT a month after I finally got a letter for an interview on the 10th. I'm nervous about the interview but we shall see.

Next problem. I forgot to make a copy of my RFE before I sent it with the rest of the information ( I have an unclear picture of one of the pages but that is it) and I just saw I need that for an INFOPASS appointment. On a scare from 1-10, in how much trouble am I?

Ok so you received RFE, replied, and have not heard back since then. As far as I know, that means you are cleared of background checks. If that was still pending, they wouldn't have taken any action on your case. RFE indicates they did the first run of inspection. Right now I bet it is just sitting on someone's desk.

Couple suggestions beyond talking to Tier 2 agent; get your congressman involved and consider filing for naturalization, a lot of people mentioned that would force them to take action on your pending ROC.

I found this website https://www.dhs.gov/cis-ombudsman-update-getting-most-out-your-call-uscis-national-customer-service-center it says Tier 2 officers cannot review already issued RFEs. Probably that's why she suggested you for service request or infopass.

You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

I feel so dumb it is not even funny. None of these really applies to my case.

Naturalization is not a quick option because I want to keep my German citizenship and that has to be processed before I can file for naturalization, so definitely not a quick fix. Thanks for all your help and keeping me sane. I feel like I am about to lose it. I am at work and can't concentrate on any of this. I am so nervous.

Hmm...and there's no way you can get another copy of your evidence? Or was it the RFE letter?

The letter didn't say why they want me to come there but it says to bring aaaall my evidence so I'm just gonna do that. I heard that the longer they take, the more likely they want an interview so I'm guessing it's either random OR they lost my case file and that's why I need to bring everything haha

That is still something though. I bet a lot of times the pending cases are due to the adjudicating officer forgetting about your case. He/she probably makes a first round of inspection, cannot decide, says let me put it aside and think more about it, meantime they bring more and more folders on top of yours and he/she never remembers about your case. Tier 2 officer can see your case is assigned to Agent XYZ on whatever date and contact the officer and ask why he/she is still not taking action. Officer says uh oh.... I'm sorry working on it now...

How long does it take to get approved after sending back info with RFE? I sent all my documentation to my lawyer yesterday. He'll send it off with any other papers he prepares. When I first filed I sent hospital records of a birth and death certificate of baby (They were not official from vital records). Several notarized letters from friends and family and ex spouse. And a 10 page letter of everything that happened in our marriage. And official divorce decree. So when I responded to the RFE I sent back a official copy of a birth and death certificate, bank statements (all account transactions), health and car insurance cards, copies of joint taxes with pics of our DL's (same address) and social security cards. We were on month to month rent so my name was never on the lease or utilities just his. So I can't send that in. I also sent another letter about any evidence that I did not have. Do you guys think this is enough evidence for approval?
