This is so annoying... USCIS has system problems for the past couple of weeks I have been told today... They told me to put in service request online but I can't because it says I am within processing

Hey Trini! Don't freak out :) I would call them and see if they can tell you anything on the phone and/or get an infopass appointment. I'm sure that wouldn't be the first time that the petitioner can not be present for the interview. So I'm sure they can help you with that and you can go to the interview alone :)

So I called the help desk, the CSR was confused :/ she said all i should do was schedule an info pass appointment and return the initial page stating why I can not attend.SO this is what I did.....I stated that my hubby is incarcerated (as stated in the application ) and his release date in July as well as included a full page letter explaining the situation and also expressing that the evidence for trips, money sent, visits etc were included in the package as well as requesting to reschedule ( hoping they give me a date when he is released).

I also scheduled an info pass appointment which is jan 28th.

1 Question, I am eligible to file for the N400 as of 2/20...should I go ahead and do this if I am given a later date interview? Would the N 400 be denied due to the pending I751?

Any good news from March filers?

I found an app called Case tracker, is simple but still says the same thing: Case was received on 03/23... :cry:

I know the site. I choose two option

1. you need service on a case that has already been filed.

2. Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

Even though, i didn't get any notice still can i make an appointment for case inquiry?

Nothing yet...Nothing...filed 3/5, no updates online, no letter, no word, how do you get the Case Verification Number?

You can find your case verification number at your biometric appointment letter, it shows 2 different numbers, use the second one.

I haven't received anything in the mail, but there was an update on my case status this morning saying they ordered the new card on January 20th.

No RFE, no Interview or anything...so, that's good I guess. And, proof that turning in the paperwork after the expiration date does not automatically result in denial.

Still nothing.....no RFE, no nothing. One year is coming up soon. Infopass would be another overnight trip to Sacramento. We are planning to move again in April....would be nice to have new GC before then. The potential move would place us closer to a service center but several states away from California. The fact that we will be renting might mean we won't immediately know our change of address. Don't know if there is any advice you can give...but I'm worried.

CITIZENSHIP: 

Biometrics appointment for 2020-03-27 has been cancelled until further notice as all field offices are closed because of COVID-19.

***NOA dated 12/10/2020 USCIS stated they are able to reuse previous Biometrics***

Interview was easy. My hubby's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for February 25th. I can't watch >sad< but happy he is getting his certificate!

it might come any day!

try to call them as much as you can and ask for details about your case.
