I-751 March 2015 Filers

information online says they are now working on cases filed on march 23rd 2015. we filed on the 9th of march and have not heard a word on our case. I called and was told to keep waiting. hmm interesting

I'm actually in shock the VSC status shows something other "March 2nd, 2015". It was the status since last August, and finally they moved it another 21 days. What an accomplishment for VSC!

I think you will hear something very soon b/c a few April '15 VSC approvals were posted recently. As you may notice from the timelines, unfortunately USCIS does not follow a first- come first-served rule. I bet your folder is just sitting on someone's desk waiting for its turn but if you are really worried, you could make an infopass appointment. Some March '15 filers had infopass appointments on their cases recently, maybe they could share their experiences and tell you what to expect from infopass. Good luck!

I have received NOA 1 on 03/27/2015 for my i-751 divorce waiver application. I am looking for infopass appointment too. I have question for you. did they really help you get any information on your case? is it worth it to try or wait and watch?

Hi John531!

1. they are really helpful. they can look through their database or whatever they have and can tell you exactly what is going on with your case, which actions are done (or not done) on your case and when.

2. my opinion - yes, it is worth it. it will never hurt! i had 2 infopasses while my case was under ROC and both of them were helpful.

you can ask some question if you need as well. Especially if you have a waiver application.

By the way, both persons at the local field office (Lawrence, MA)i talked to were very nice to us. ( My husband was with me).

so, i would advise you to do it!

does your information is added in list? where is your field office located?

I know that divorce waiver cases take longer than normal ones but you can see some of California cases were solved within 6 , 7 or 8 months.

In Vermont service center, it is delay.

I wanna cry right now....HELP NEEDED!!!

So i received a letter for an interview dated 01/11/16.....interview date is 02/19/16 but it specifically stated BOTH applicant and petitioner MUST be present for the interview....HOWEVER my husband (US Citizen) is currently incarcerated and would not be released until 07/14/16 or even 2017!!! I specifically entered ALL this information when i sent in the package to avid all this......What should I do????? It says that if I am unable to attend the interview state why and return the letter asap....should i just do this only or should i set up an info pass appointment as well? Im literally having a nervous breakdown right now.
