Request for I-129 Extention

Ok. My fiancee just got the third package. She told me that there is a request for an updated "intent to marry letter". But what I am confused about is that it also said to ask for extention on the I-129 form. I am not sure why they want this because shouldn't they schedule the interview in about 1 month after they get package 3 back? The I-129 doesn't run out till the middle of May. Why do they want this?

Also I was wondering if anyone knows how a cosponsor should file the I-134 if they had a joint tax return. My mom and dad are both self employed but my mom's name is on all the cheques but my dad's nome is first on the tax return. Who should be the one to fill out the I-134a?

I am self employed but am starting a new job next week. Will they accept my I-134 with the statement that I am going to make this much from now on?
