My then fiance and I met online in 2009. I filed for the I-129F in September of 2011. My I-129F was approved in Feb of 2012. It wasn't until April of 2013 that I was able to fly to Tunisia to finally meet him in person.. At this point my then fiance had gone to his interview and was awaiting AP for 10 months. His visa was finally issued on Sept of 2013 and arrived in the USA Dec of 2013. We married the end of Dec 2013, he is now a Green Card holder.

So, yes it is POSSIBLE to get approved without meeting in person. More than welcome to check out my timeline. We were approved against ALL odds! Very stressful long journey, indeed.

Good luck to the both of you , ;)

Did you include any affidavit ( statement knowing your relationship) from a friend or someone else when you filed?

If you have sent the pasdport stamp and they are asking for proffs that mean that it wasnt enough.

So you need take a plane ticket and go to visit your fiance again and take pictures this times.

Or if you fiance can come to usa then that he goes to visit you.

Maybe the passport stamp isnt recent that they are asking for proofs.

If you dont send good proofs you will be denied.

You cant do this. They want proof within the two year period before you applied for K-1 not after.

This is correct. They want proof that you have met within 2 years PRIOR to sending the petition, not after.

I do not mean this in a "negative" way, but constructively as it seems to me you were very un-prepared for your meeting with the one you want to file a K-1.

I am just wondering, what your "train of thought was" about documenting that you actually, met, "face to face" (as required)so you could file a 129-F.

I am just trying to understand your thinking, and "why" or "how" did you think you could prove you met. Did you have prior knowledge of the

requirements, of proof, to file a 129-F? If so, how was you going to prove the two of you met?

I am just trying to see if something has been overlooked, that could be used for evidence.

I honestly think, you will have to make another trip, and this time, I would make sure I was very informed of what is required for "proof"

and the K-1 Forum, on the Homepage, is great for gaining this knowledge.

My wife is from the Philippines, and we had 30 pictures, as ""THE first thing the officer asked for was"".,.,.,."Do you have any pictures!!!""

gem04,

I did not. I wrote a heartfelt letter stating the reason why we had NOT yet met in person. It was all.
