need infopass help

Hi

My GC will be expire in next month and i need 551 stamp on my passport because i am traveling abroad . so can anyone please tell me which option i will pick from the uscis website for making appointment for infopass.

1 You need Service on a case that has already been filed

2 You are a new Permanent Resident and have not yet received your Permanent Resident Card

3 You want to file an application in person

4 You need a form.

I'm also stuck trying to navigate this after choosing the "already been filed" option I then get this: NONE of them make sense!

Services on a case that has already been filed At Case Status Online

• You can check current case processing times to get an idea of how long your case should take.

• If your case has a receipt number, you can check the status.

We offer 4 kinds of appointments for a case that you have already filed. Please choose from the following -

Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.
Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.
EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.
Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. Just use the "Case Processing Appointment." The point is just to get an appointment.

if your GC is gonna expired next month so you should have already your 1 year extention that you can travel with i don't see any reason for stamp on your passport

After you enter your zip code……….

Select: "You need information or other services"

Then it will say: "If you require additional assistance, you can make an appointment at your local office by clicking Continue"

Click: "Continue"

For me I would rather travel with a passport for each of us (myself and two children) than having three green cards and three letters that I have to worry about losing! The passport being stamped made it a lot easier.

You should file i-751 already....

because your conditional gc is going to be expired. once you submit i-751 they will give you noa1 and later biometrics letter.. if you r not going to go travel due to business I would rather wait... dont give yourself hard time....

Also after you received noa1 you can go infopass and get 1 year extension stamp.

I don't know vj members asked you did you apply i-751 already or not but you didnt answer it correctly. So idk yet but if its not then dont go outside... you can go outside with valid gc. And you can come back to u.s. before your gc expired. But make sure you should submit i-751 first..

I just talked to USCIS over phone .. The agent said all we need is passport,expired green card the reciept(extension letter).
