For some countries, it's pretty mandatory where as it can be triggered for various reasons. Once you are in AP various conditions will dictate how long one may stay in AP. However; like I said it doesn't mean anything negative unless you hear a rejection. Even if you do, you can appeal and fight on your case...

I can understand their idea of precautions, but at the same time if we prove our marriage is REAL LOVE then ####### is it their business? It's our lives, and OUR RIGHTS to have our spouses! They should not be allowed to be "Lord and Ruler" of all. I strongly protest! :protest::ranting::protest: They need to just do their jobs and serve the American people like they're paid to do.

Telling the truth never pays off for immigration purposes. It seems they encourage lying, cheating, bribing and border crossing over people doing this process right and truthfully. I learned this the hard way.

But only a dream. Don't worry, we are dreaming together.

I wish we could pay some fees or something to expedite this ap process.

The only fees we could have paid were under the table. Or, if we had millionaire husbands they could have applied for the business start up visas. All of the politicians would have helped us get our husbands here then.

Have you noticed it's mostly USC women complaining about not having their husbands???? PURE DISCRIMINATION!!

Not sure if you all are aware; but you can reach out to your respective comgressperson and/or senators and make a formal request theough them. Just to make it very clear, this does not either gets the petition approved or expedites it in any way, but just that you bring it to the attention of some.

If you are playing by the books, don't get disheartened or frustrated. Nothing beats the fact that your case is genuine and you have nothing to hide. You have seen few bad apples getting away with lies and don't know millions that gets rejected permanently and there will always be some idiots who would say things (about timeline) without have any clue about the process. Why am I not surprised!!!!! If you aren't very well prepared, plan in advance this MAY (again may) take longer and sometimes no matter what you do, you will get caught with the beauracratic process. As you are at the end part of it; just hold your patience and stay positive. All I can say that this ugly experience will make you realize how valuable you are to each other.

Best wishes for you.
