Hey guys, so today we sent off our k-1, yay!

However it appears we forgot the g1145 notification form... How will we be notified and or how can we send one in to be notified electronically?

Hey guys, so today we sent off our k-1, yay!

However it appears we forgot the g1145 notification form... How will we be notified and or how can we send one in to be notified electronically?

You will just have to wait to get your NOA1 and NOA2 by mail. Its not a big deal. They only notification I got from the g1145 was NOA1. You can track your receipt number on the USCIS website but they don't really update it. I checked it everyday and the only update was when they received it and never showed that it was sent to NVC. About two weeks after you get your NOA2 i would start calling the NVC and asking about your case number. Once you have that you can track it on the CEAC website, but usually by the time you get your case number it has been sent to the embassy. At that point you can make your appointment for your interview then schedule your medical exam.

12/31/2014: Received Electronic notification for NOA1 hard copy to follow

01/05/2015: NOA1 Hard copy received

01/13/2015: Received Electronic notification for NOA2 hard copy to follow

01/20/2015: NOA2 Hard copy received

01/20/2015: NVC Received

01/26/2015: Case # assigned

01/30/2015: Sent to embassy

02/02/2015: Embassy received

02/08/2015: Interview Scheduled for 03/11/2015 Will do Medical on 02/26/2015

02/23/2015: NVC Letter received.

02/27/2015: Medical complete.

03/11/2015: Interview. APPROVED!!!!

04/03/2015: POE Seattle

06/20/2015: Got married

07/01/2015: Filed I-485, I-765, I-131, G-325, G-1145

07/16/2015: Received NOA for I-485 and I-765

07/17/2015: RFE for I-131 Missed signature

Once you have your SRC or WAC number (written on your NOA1) you can set up an account with myUSCIS.

Immigration Timeline

 

June 2013: Met whilst working at a summer camp in Michigan 

K1

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

February 6th 2019: I was asked to return later the same day for my Oath Ceremony! :dance:
