Do I have to call NVC,

Hi

we got our notice in the mail that our K-1 was sent to NVC, now do we have to call them or will they send us status info, thru text / e-mail like they did with our NOA's or do we need to call to get new number or is there anyway to check status online. sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but I looked and typed in search options and didnt get any hits back that it was

yes you will have to call NVC. If you wait for a letter or e-mail,it will be a lot of extra time that you will be waiting you might not even get an e-mail from them. You will do lot more calling at the nvc, then you did at USCIS. Also the lines are very busy a lot. When you do get thru you might be on hold for long time. The best time to call is when they first open or late at night before they close. Do not wait on reply from NVC. you will be wasting valuable time
