Hi all,

My wife now finally got her green card in her hand, and now we wanted to transfer her savings (at DBS/POSB) and her CPF from Singapore to here in the US.

A few questions:

- should we take the CPF out first to her savings account, then we'll transfer everything in her saving and close the account? or is it better to transfer a bit at a time?

- has anybody done everything remotely from the US? or does she have to be physically there in singapore?

- we're thinking of using transferwise to transfer the money, anybody has experience with them? or anybody has better options?

thank you
