maybe the USCIS are speeding things up a bit. they signed for my packet 1-30-07, check cashed today, NOA1 dated 2-5-07.

hopefully things get processed sooner than i thought!

01-27-07 Mailed I-129F Express Mail(USPS)
02-01-07 Transferred to CSC
02-06-07 Official Receipt Notice NOA1
02-12-07 Received Hard Copy NOA1 dated 02-06-07
05-27-07 Faxed letter to Senator Mel Martinez asking his office to check out my case
06-04-07 APPROVED after 119 days!!!
06-18-07 Received Hard Copy NOA2 dated 06-14-07
06-18-07 NVC Received case From CSC assigned MNL#
06-20-07 NVC Forwarded case to U.S. Embassy in Manila!!!
07-05-07 U.S. Embassy Manila receives hard copy of case
07-13-07 Interview issued for Sept. 11th
07-31-07 Aubrey received Packet 4 by DHL
09-11-07 Interview at US Embassy/Approved
10-11-07 Arrived in the United States
12-27-07 MARRIED!!!

Congratulations! Just a question about NOA1 dates. Should I enter our NOA1 date as the day we got it in the mail or the date quoted on the USCIS website as when they received it? Thanks!

07/20/2007 Visa Interview in London! Approved!!

10/04/2007 Small private wedding!

04/19/2008 Big fancy shmancy wedding!

AOS Timeline:

10/18/2007 Sent entire AOS, EAD, AP package to Chicago

10/19/2007 Package received in Chicago- signed for by V Bustamante

10/25/2007 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, and AP.

10/26/2007 Check cashed.

11/28/2007 Biometrics appointment in Denver.

12/17/2007 EAD card production ordered!

12/27/2007 EAD card arrives.

12/31/2007 AP approved.

01/07/2008 AP received.

02/01/2008 AOS interview in Denver. APPROVED!

02/11/2008 Green Card received in mail!

NOA1 is the date that USCIS received your application because it's basically a receipt (notice).

What they sent me from what was posted on-line was one day difference. I used the earlier one.

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
