my issue wasn't so much with getting everyone into heaven so much as it terrified me to no end that i would be in eternal dumbstruck awe of something that used it's power to rid me of remembering and caring for unsaved people.

which in turn made me ask what kind of a god tortures people eternally for not believing in him?

it took me a while, but the answer i'm most comfortable with is - a man-made one. we project our faults on our image/idea of god.

It does in some areas in the Pacific, tall as a house, and as thick as a post. The police chief in one location was nice enough to bring me a whole shopping bag full of wet green leaves.

It's everywhere. I even found it growing wild in China.

That's not China. That's just a couple of random chicks along the US highway in usa
