Metrosexual ME/NAs?!

I hate the word metrosexual, but it best describes what I am saying/asking. Metrosexual/übersexual...Do you know some ME/NA that take care of themselves, spends more then you on looking good ? or do you think it's not in the culture.... I am curious.

Yes I know many. I mean I hate to stereotype but Lebanese guys don't just walk out of the house looking that hot in a matter of 5 minutes

You will find lots of guys like this but in the major cities, not so much in the outskirts.

It takes me and my husband the same ammount of time to get ready.

THE SAME AMMOUNT OF TIME.

I put on makeup, and I go through the whole long hair thing, and even curling it sometimes.

I can actually be ready before him.

In addition to this, he also has a whole ritual of seeing the barber every week, getting his beard threaded on the edges, etc. If I have the money I'll wax, but that doesn;t take nearly the same ammount of time as he spends in there. Amazing.

ROFLMAO, omg my fiance does the same thing! One of his biggest concerns about coming here is finding a barber who does threading. for 1JD.....lol

LOL! I told my Dh that there will be none of that here! I was like this is ARKANSAS and you're lucky if you can find someone who will speak a form of English you even understand, let alone thread.

Actaully, he let me pluck it with tweezers and it was kind of fun! LOL! He made a lot of jokes about how maybe I would finish before one of us died...

Hahahahaha, well I did manage to find places that do threading out here but its done by women and that is a foreign concept to him at this point. He goes to the barber quite often too and its so cheap there so he can afford to do that. I don't if its gonna be that easy to go every week here.

Yeah you know its bad when the guy is giving you tips on how to tweeze your eyebrows Henia have you heard of that Lebanese-Canadian singer...Massari? Iwould say he is metrosexual, LOL

The link above describes it-- it's basically plucking but with a thread. He uses it to clean up that beard line on the cheek. my Dh keeps a "scruff" kind of beard, as if he skipped shaving for 2-4 days or so. Occasionally he will make that into a goatee.

I think if done correctly, they would be identical since they are both plucking the hair, but threading is a lot faster. I've heard the pain is the same. So I would vote for threading over tweezing just because of the time factor!

there are tonssssssss of metro me/na men. if you were in LA you'd see the thousands and thousands of persian metros.

those kinda guys are not for me. if anyone takes longer than me to get ready and they don't even wear makeup or have long hair.... well, ummmmm.

p.s. i had no idea men got their beards threaded! ouch! where do you live, julianna? i see threading shops here in ny all over the place. i was thinking of trying it for my eyebrows.

What is it with the after shave/cologne? I gave up saying, 'honey you might want to use a little less.....why? mmmmmmm it will last longer!' His answer....I will get more I look at it this why now, at least he smells good.

Not to be stereotyping anyone, but I have noticed members of certain ME/NA cotunries tend to be "metrosexual". While others, just donnot care. Any thoughts?
