The cost of living is stupid high in Hawaii. And the traffic is bad. I'm doing the research before I up and move anywhere. RI might be cold, but it might be easier than living in "paradise".

I am not a republican so I don't care my only point is that instead of addressing what someone is currently doing wrong , you tried to negate it by pointing out what someone did wrong 20 or more years ago

The cost of living is high, but if you like the lifestyle, you get over that pretty quick. If you don't like the lifestyle, everything else will drive you nuts.

Trust me Marv, New England is nice, but if you have a chance to live in Hawaii, grab it dude. You'll be able to adjust to the higher cost of living much easier with all that sunshine then you would the crappy winters and cold weather round here, especially as you get older. I'd like to have you as a neighbor, but I wouldn't pass up that opportunity if I were you.
