Yes. The white house contact has seen and read my letter to the president. He was lied to when they came back and told him that nothing was wrong. He knew that and told them about it. But they denied it, choosing instead to go by what the USCIS told them, which of course that all centers are processing the I-129F in 5 months.

Reportedly he was angry that they lied about it and so he has taken up the cause to do something. What that will entail is TBD.

Thanks

I know that there was some attempt to get this issue out to the NYTs right? Has anyone else here considered pushing this issue through any other media contacts, even local media?

KD was doing all of the NY Times stuff, but the reporter put her on hold the instant that the injunction story broke. Don't know where everything stands WRT that just now, but I suspect we're pretty low on the priority pole. I'll check with KD tomorrow...

Called the President at (202) 456-1111 and left a comment :help: about TSC backlog with a nice lady at the other end. She promised that she would 'definitely' relay the message to our President. I hope she does as promised. I know, i might sound little too optimistic but it's worth a try.

Next up, i'm planning on writing a letter too. Chances that i might be read are slim but..it's worth a try. I hope everyone who is going thru this does this and rattle some cages so we are heard and maybe..just maybe, someone will take action.

Cool, thank you for taking action. Who will you write a letter to? I and the Skunkworks crew have already sent a letter to the President; but another sure wouldn't hurt. LOL

Let us know what happens.

How to Submit a Letter to the Editor

Letters should be exclusive to The New York Times or The International New York Times. We do not publish open letters or third-party letters.

Letters should preferably be 150 to 175 words, should refer to an article that has appeared within the last seven days, and must include the writer's address and phone numbers. No attachments, please.

We regret that because of the volume of submissions, we cannot acknowledge unpublished letters other than by an automated e-mail reply. Writers of letters selected for publication will be notified within a week. Letters may be edited and shortened for space.

To send a letter to the editor:

letters@nytimes.com (for readers of The New York Times)

inytletters@nytimes.com (for readers of The International New York Times)

I urge everyone who wants to be with their loved ones sooner to contact their respective state senators and bring some heat on this TSC backlog situation. It only takes 10 minutes of your time.

http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Choose your state, pick your senator, go to their website , call them and explain your situation (F).

I'll post back once i hear from my senators.

Man, I wish I had a senator... I totally would if I could.

Will def get in touch with my non-voting rep Holmes-Norton. Only the best and brightest for us disenfranchised DC residents: http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2015/03/25/eleanor_holmes_norton_video_shows_d_c_congresswoman_s_disastrous_attempt.html
